Ofcourse it would just be until Lawrence comes back (if he does this year). Our left side attack is where we normally score most of our tries and it has been decimated with internationals Tuqiri, Lawrence and Ellis being out or effected from injuries this year. Marshall needs a centre with size on the left edge that knows how to run into a hole. He also needs a second rower on the left with the similar attributes. Think about who you would want at left centre when Lote comes back, and I don't think Lawrence will be ready by then.

That's the team I would roll out with as well.

I've got a feeling that Lui might not play because of the injury he sustained during the game.

The only other variation for me is to start Moltzen instead of Simona.

How anyone can really name Dwyer in their starting side after the last month of defensive efforts is just beyond me

Smeg, I can see your point however its the much needed game time as he develops that will seem the Tigers reap the rewards.

SD will get better and his numbers will improve as the team does as well.

Oh yeah - Same exact team as last round.

we need to built confidence that is born of consistency until Lote and Lawry come back

Its a balancing act Spartan. I agree game time is required but he is the least capable of our back rowers to play big minutes and is at his most effective at latter stages of halves.

Game time will improve him for the future but it should not come at the sacrifice of the now

Is it just me or does Simona look a million times the player Moltzen does at half? He looks comfortable and if we stick with him for another few rounds, it looks like he is going to slot in just fine! I certainly wouldn't be dropping him yet (wait till Lawry is fit…)

Some of you guys want to dump young Lui..He is the most naturally gifted 20 year old half in the game today. The tigers pack has struggled over the last month and you want to hang a 20 year old kid.
His defence can be coached just like Chris Lawrence and his running, passing and kicking is exceptional for one so young.

Mate the tackles he has been missing have nothing to do with our pack being dominated, its all about technique and attitude and both are poor. Like you I think the kids could be really good but at present he is causing us a lot of problems, time for a change

Replacements noted in brackets should Lui be injured.

2\. Brown
3\. Ayshford

No BS. Halfback for a halfback. Centre for a centre.

What about Dwyer to left centre and Moltzen to half back?

Dwyer is certainly big and fast enough he'd just have to make the right decisions is defence. I think he played a lot of junior football there for the Magpies
