Your Team vs Panthers Round 8

Looks like McIntyre didn’t get called into judiciary for his tackle on Averillo which is good

Packer dislikes Cleary on an angry level .. first picked !

Is this true I heard he took it the hardest out of all the players feeling absolute betrayal when Cleary ditched the tigers and his long-standing relationship he had with him that all but ceased at that moment?

I heard the same. I'm guessing there will be no love lost. Hopefully, if picked, he will target the chin all night.

I’ve noticed the media starting to hype up Talau, comparing him to his old man and calling him a ‘young star’. Hopefully it doesn’t get to him, needs to do what Harry Grant does and not read the news 😂

why is everyone saying packer to play. mans single handedly lost us the game against canberra

Look, shoe on the other foot. You could say he was brought on at the exact time that the Raiders pack was belting us and gaining the ascendancy and he took it on him self to try and fight back and get some respect. Took it too far not disputing that but if they chicken sit Joesph Tapine doesn’t cry foul that hit doesn’t get picked up. You see plenty of them. It wasn’t a swinging arm he was making a side on tackle and got caught high. No way did he intend on hitting the guy in the head.
Give him a chance if Madge decides to.

I couldnt select Packer after his neanderthal performance in his last match. He shouldnt be rewarded for that level of stupidity especially as nobody played poorly yesterday

Mikaele is probably out for at least a week, Packer probably comes in, hopefully with a different attitude.

Mikaele isn't listed as injured.

I'm in two minds about Packer, I think we need the grunt in the middle, but with no match fitness behind him, I worry that Koroisau would exploit him quite quickly. If anything I'd bring him off the bench in favor of MCK. Clark still gets a start for me, his defence is pretty good and does a job.

Clark is also up against his old team, so he might have something to prove

Is Mikaele even confirmed out? It didn’t look good but they said it was just a sprain and he could’ve played more minutes if need be. There’s a chance he can play this week, if not packer comes in for him.

Madge confirmed after the match everyone’s healthy and no injuries. Not sure how much info he would have at that stage but nothings been mentioned.

He didn’t look good when he went off, and I read somewhere he was in doubt.

He was able to come back on and play if required.

Hopefully you're right and he does play. Knee injuries are usually worse the following few days.

Be madness to play Packer against Penrith’s fast mobile pack. I think the games has moved past forwards like Packer. If he had a big engine like JWH at the Chooks might be different
