I wouldn't say massive changes, but hopefully a few changes that will lead to some improvement from our past 2 games.

Big Luc just is not a starting back rower...absolute fool's gold. People here see his runs and power and overate him massively. Defensively he is a massive hole. He simply is nowhere near mobile enough. People even point to his stats as being not too bad, but those are largely due to him being so badly beaten he does not get close enough to register a miss. Storm targeted him non stop and Souths will also. HAS to be on the bench this week, as you said.

He has been torched against any decent team we’ve played this year. The good teams know how much of a weak link he is in defense

Absolutely love him as an attacking player, but we can’t carry his defensive deficiencies any longer

Talau is a wasted space. He has been a liability all season,

Even @TheDaBoss can see it and he only started watching footy a few years ago.

Why can't the coach see it?
Is our roster that bad, we have no other option?

Talau has never been a first grade player and persisting with him is just a waste of space and time.

Ive just read a bunch of posts about not wanting/picking lazy uncommitted players.
Ive just read a bunch of posts about wanting to develop our juniors.
Ive just read a bunch of posts that there is not enough talent in the squad to be winning many games.
And ive just read a bunch of posts saying this season is over let's focus on next season.

Now i think Talau has been underperforming. And if he were the only thing holding us back from winning games id be all for dropping him.

But maybe he is the best trainer, he is still a young player who has come through our system and is working to improve his game. He is also contracted for next year and plays a position where we are weak and have players coming off contract.
Maybe what the coach sees is a player who can address all the above points.

I hope he starts addressing them soon.

Issue is the centre selections - tbh dont care who gets picked in our other positions it's here that we are severely lacking talent in.

Talau can't catch a pass, too many errors in his game + doesn't know how to pass.

Roberts, can't defend + doesn't know how to pass.

AD gets one spot but I worry for the side either of the above two slot into.

100% correct. Madge has given Talau and Roberts enough chances. Talau in turn has shown that he is not yet at first grade level.

Unfortunately Roberts has shown that he is no longer, and won't ever be again at first grade level. To select these two players in first grade Madge would be foregoing any trust Wests tigers have provided him as their coach.

We don't need superstars to replace these two players. We only need capable defensive oriented players with heart and intelligence to replace them.

So, so, true, our selections show a lack of BALLS.
