Mbye was always a talented player. Walters is just hopeless. He’s off the pace in reserve grade.

Walters was REALLY bad for the Magpies last week...could not keep up, blew multiple tries, and was shifted to hooker last 20.

It would take a monumental reversal in form for him to handle NRL this week...

Does anyone know why on earth Madden was not named in the 21? We knew Mbye was in doubt, so this is expected. Madden has been in form, is fit, and played with Brooks pre season.

Walters ahead of him in the 21 made absolutely zero sense.

I hope I am wrong, but Walters inclusion takes us from a serious chance...to almost no chance. He was literally miles off the pace... in reserve grade.

Agreed re Moses...but the key difference is Moses was fit.

I am not sure if you saw Billy last weekend, but he was miles off the pace in reggies in terms of fitness and game speed. He has been out almost a year...and reggies has been too fast.

It will be an absolutely herculean effort if he can play 80 mins NRL.

It seems bizarre Madden was not the next man up.

Didn't see him play nor do I know why he has been selected ahead of anyone else - but no doubt Maguire has a reason and whatever the outcome he will have to wear it.

Fairly sure Jock is playing state cup.

I also hope Walters kills it...but it really would be a herculean effort to do so. Form can be reversed, but fitness is very hard to just get back and Sunday's game is going to be very fast.

I am guessing Madge knows best, he is the coach. I probably would of put Douehi at five eight and move BJ into centres. Though Walters at his best would be the logical choice however he did not look good in Reserves.

My guess is Madge likes doueihi that one spot wider and the instructions to BW are to just shift it quickly to give AD time. He is a weapon one on one.
