Your team vs Warriors

I agree, I think Bunty should be there, probably for Seyfarth. I really like Sioni Fainu's work at the moment. He's been outstanding. Royce Hunt has been good too but does anyone else think that Terrell May's form has been disappointing? Too many sideways runs and slow play the balls near the opposition try line that jolt the team's momentum.
I’m still waiting for May to run at pace, seems all very pedestrian and not bending the line at all. One the other Hunt showing what he’s capable of !

I think Charlie Murray deserves a chance as bench forward and back up hooker. I'd also give Latu Fainu a free rein in attack as a foil for the steady Madden.
This is my pick of teams nominated so far. Andrews the 5/8 as Latu won't be rushed back just yet.
Herbert the new 19

It’ll be a long night, if we can keep wahs under 30 I’ll be impressed

What’s 2026 Herbert like? Can’t be any worse than our current options, and plus it’d get Mak back on the wing

I reckon you've nailed it Mtd.

I don't think Benji will channel any inner Sheenius and move Api out of position. Those moves rarely end well.

Madden is a given & Javon has the combo with him from the pre-season and a successful one at that. By the sounds of Benji's caution around Latu, I think he will be eased back and I reckon will come on for the last 30 minutes.

I don't think he'll tinker with his starting pack so I'd expect Pole still to start but Bunty to be a bench option (maybe used instead of Seyfarth this week).
How's Andrews tracking in ressies BWG?

I would take up Bula’s 2027 option. It gives you close to two years to source a replacement. I also think he would be under pressure to perform to keep his next club interested. Of course most importantly it would stuff Moses up.

If we can source a replacement now or a player of quality in another position than okay, let him walk

Bringing Bunty into the mix against his old club.

Id happily take the loss and lessons by giving Madden and Andrews a crack instead of playing some make shift halves.
Pretty similar to how I was thinking, although I'd play Sione ahead of Alex. Even though a loss is likely, it's a good chance to put to test the depth and the training the wider squad has been doing. I'd like to think they have been preparing for this opportunity and make sure they do the jersey proud, as Benji keeps preaching.

I'd love for Jock to play so well in his time that he can't be dropped when the others return from injury. Would help expedite the assumed plans for Douehi to transition to lock (although Twal is doing a damn good job there currently).

Go big against the Wahs pack. Afoa will have a point to prove against his old club. Let him go all out in the first 20 to 25 minutes and then let the other boys take over. Sione to cover back row if needed, otherwise a part of the middle rotation as he has been used already.

Our young halves need time and space.

How do you guys think the Warriors' forward pack would handle Samuela moving into the middle for 2 extended stints and pushing Sione to his edge?
