Your team vs Warriors

He doesn't play centre. He is just fullback cover. So I suspect he will go back to the 6 man bench when their first choice fullback comes back this week (Charnz Nikoll-Klokstad). Both their starting centers Adam Pompey and Ali Leautaeua are listed as 6'3. They are not small. They have the size and power advantage over us in both the backs and forwards.
Really looking forward to Nicoll-Klokstad constantly milking penalties and the Worriers getting home town call after home town call.

Can't wait. (to put my foot throught the TV)

How is AD possibly playing this week? The way he limped off he looked like he’d torn his hammy badly. Crazy not to rest him.
I’d play Jock at 7. He’s shown enough to be given a go. All reports saying Latu is right, so give him the 6 for as long as he can play. When Latu comes off, (hopefully he lasts 60 mins), Hope comes on and Api moves into halves, Andrews in the 18 or 19 just in case.
Uses lots of interchanges so we will be short on middles which is tough against the Warriors. Not sure what else we can do.

I agree with you and doubt AD will play, more paper talk.
Anyway, we’ll know by 4pm.

The team at Wests Tigers TV saying this morning via Facebook they've heard Latu is ready to go this week.
he has to play over Jock if AD's right to go. unfortunate for Jock that he's had to ride the pine for a couple weeks but realistically his and AD's games are too similar stylistically and we need someone that can create points.

Pompey is useless defensively. Latu will make him act a fool.

People are forgetting how good Latu is.

He'll be underdone, but I'm so bullish on him, early injuries or not.

SMH reporting our halves will be Adam Doueihi joining Jock Madden with Latu Fainu on the bench

🥴
If Adam is right that the best option in my opinion.

Jock can take over the kicking duties, both in play (long) & for goal.

Latu gives Api a back & can slot in the halves if required.

I still think the biggest selection is to play Herbert at right centre. Skelton at right wing & move Turuva back to left wing.

Luke in the 19 jumper.

Hope back to NSW cup to get more kms in the legs.

Bunty on the extended bench over Seyfarth in priority.

Close, but Madden 7, Doueihi 6
Madden the manager------Doueihi the managed.

Wests Tigers will name Adam Doueihi for Friday’s clash against the Warriors, a boost after initial fears the halfback would be sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Doueihi’s halves partner will be Jock Madden, who will replace injured skipper Jarome Luai. Madden’s last game for the Tigers was in round 18 of 2024. He joined the Broncos at the end of that season, before returning to the joint-venture outfit during the summer.

Madden impressed in the trials and has been an unused reserve in Marshall’s match-day squad in the first two rounds. Another halves option, Latu Fainu, will provide cover from the interchange bench after finishing his rehab from shoulder surgery.

Scans confirmed Luai will be out for the next four weeks after suffering medial ligament damage in his knee against South Sydney on Saturday night. The sight of Doueihi with a hamstring injury in the same match had raised fears that both star halves could be sidelined.

However, Doueihi’s prognosis is far more positive than first expected when he was unable to walk from the field two days ago in Gosford, and he moved freely around the Tigers’ Concord training base on Monday.

A four-week lay-off for Luai will rule him out of games against the Warriors, Eels, Knights and Broncos, before a potential Leichhardt Oval return against Canberra.

The Tigers attack struggled to pull South Sydney apart despite enjoying 53 tackles in the Rabbitohs’ 20-metre zone before Luai and Doueihi went down, but back-rower Kai Pearce Paul backed the likes of Madden and Fainu to get the job done in the coming weeks.

“The exciting thing for us, I think if you look back to the trials and especially in that first game, the likes of Jock Madden controlled the game and had a great dig as well,” Pearce Paul said.

“I think it’s exciting, regardless of who plays and who doesn’t, it’s a good opportunity for some boys to show themselves ... Latu’s not been everything, but he’s been looking good, looking really fast, fit, and I’d say he’s ready to go”
