Why do you think the USA are flooding the market now? They're trying to reduce the worlds reliance on the Middle East for oil. Oil from Saudi Arabia (whom are funding the Wahabbist expansion through the Muslim world,) and ISIS is worth bugger all now since the Yanks have upped production and created an oversupply.

Yes agreed.I feel very sorry for those innocent muslims and have for the last 30 years while the liberal loving western media were all too focused on blaming America,Israel for all its troubles.Im well aware of America and its footprints it has left in the middle east and also the footprints left by its enemies in the middle east and it wasnt the Americans killing aid workers or blowing up all the education outlets,hospitals etc or people watching the asian cup.

Everyone forgets that the biggest victims are other Muslims, but we'll all fly off the handle when a Yank journalist or English aid worker gets beheaded.

Exactly right CB. The biggest victims are the innocent, moderate citizens of the Middle East (Muslims and Christians) who by no fault of there own are being executed, beheaded, burnt alive, buried alive and/or being driven out of their homes.

These terrorist groups like ISIS weren't a problem when Suddam was in power because he knew how to cater for the different sects in Iraq and keep everyone under control. America goes barging in (rightly or wrongly is another can of worms) and kills him and now look at whats happened.

America is more than capable of protecting itself against the scum that is ISIS, but what about the rest of the Middle East who now have to deal with these barbaric groups. How are they going to stop the mass beheadings and killing of their children and families ?

Now when a serious threat has emerged, America and the rest of the politically correct world sits on there arses and refuse to clean the mess they made.

The only real leader is the King of Jordan who personally bombed and killed 55 ISIS soldiers the day after they burnt alive one of his own pilots. Now that is leadership, not like the politically correct, all talk no action leaders like Obama and Abbot.

This is just my opinion, it probably won't be popular but America owes it to the Middle East to extinguish ISIS once and for all, because they're the ones who created them.

I'm actually a huge fan of King Abdullah. When my wife and I were in Europe the only English speaking channel we could get in non-English speaking countries was CNN. They had a series on Jordan and it involved a lot of interviews with King Abdullah. I personally loathe the concept of monarchy but Abdullah seemed like a rather enlightened man and Jordan seems rather progressive for a Middle Eastern country.

The reason we have politically correct leaders is because we have politically correct voters Tony.We all want to talk about the people who are the biggest victims of the Middle East (Muslim moderates,catholic other)but the politically correct left wing buyist american media would rather spend 6 months on a think tank where its just one great big pile of smug talk and at the end of it they leave it up to someone like Matt Damon to announce we have come up with a way to beat the terrorists, thru a human shield.

Crap on Abbott all you like(yes he has made some braindead decisions which I also cant believe) but it was he who shut down all the borders the second he came into power and stopped all the man monis's of the world coming into our country unlike Kevin Rudd who bent over spread his ass cheeks and said come on over world we are nothing but a doormat to crap on.

Im not big on the label thing myself but these people call themselves left wing,right wing etc as a term of separation just like people are people but one may be Australian and one may be Brazilian.Too many political arguments seem to turn into an attack of who can throw out the biggest words like non-conformist,progressionist etc Ridiculous but perhaps also a necessary evil.Im with you Flip I like keepin things simple but some do not.
