I don't understand national pride. Pride is something you feel for something you've achieved. Being born Australian or English, Chinese, Mexican, Indian etc isn't an achievement, its just genetic luck. Its like being proud of having green eyes and brown hair. Nothing with wrong with being thankful or happy to be the nationality you are, but it isn't something that you earn.

Yeah UFC is my thing , she's brutal.
I used to watch WWE as a kid Hulk Hogan days but once i realized it was all an act , it lost me . UFC 183 Silva and Diaz is going to be a cracker

I love my golf, especially the European Tour. Watch it every yr without fail. I watch literally every minute of the British Open coverage every yr. Its sad, but i eat it up.

I used to play of 16 handicap but for some reason (I don't know why ) I just lost interest in it and know I can't stand it .. It must be just me :slight_smile:

I think baseball is way slower than cricket IMO .
Bowlers don't run in and Bork (spelling) every time their about to bowl .
I know there's massive talent and skill involved in all sports but give me cricket & league any day of the week !

This club is a young coaches dream (because of the new board).
No 'win now' mentality like a Roosters or Warriors or Bulldogs, relatively out of the media spotlight, and all the natural talent in the world.
Really excited to see a young group of coaches lead an even younger group of players and return to an exciting brand of football like we've been knock for.
Nowhere to go but up, and there's a long way to the ceiling I'd think.

I like chips like kettles and red rock deli but no go on the potato.

Demps I have this argument almost weekly. Pet hate. If it's so friggin good why do people have to smash it with sauce, gravy, salt, mayonnaise etc etc etc. nothing but a too bit, good for nothing flavour transporter.

My unpopular opinion is that the world is perfect how it is. Obviously it's gonna get better. There will be more peace, more equality etc and it will get better.

We are a product of evolution. It didn't take a couple of years for us to be where we are- the process of evolution took millions of years. Humanity is a work in progress- whether it be through our beliefs or our lifestyle.

People complain about a lot of things these days and I'm fine with that but I hate it when they get obsessively stuck on something and can't let go of it. We all just have to realise that it takes time- change takes time.

Wars, poverty, inequality etc are certainly bad things but sooner or later the good things will come out on top.

We have lasted thousands of years and we will last a few more. The reason we have lasted this long is because of the systems we have in place- we abide by our laws and that's what separates us from animals. However those who do break the law get prosecutes and rightly so.

We are the dominant species. Enjoy it while you can coz the apes are gonna take over soon.

Agree with youabout the Soccer. Any sport that is ashamed of its own name has problems . And mostly it is boring.
