We need more props with Grant and Sue leaving. Personally I'd like to see Twal at 13\. That doesn't leave much in the front row.

Ok I don’t know Musgrave so I could be way off the mark but here we are yet again chasing a player who has not cracked it in first grade but but but he’ll be a champion with us. (Rochow, Grant, McQueen to name recent examples)We do this all the time. How about we chase a bloke who has actually cracked first grade and excels. Too much to ask?

Maddison. There's one.

Matterson was a Cleary signing and now we get to look at the type of player who will be attracted under Maguire. I believe Musgrove will go well for us because at one stage the Dragons were after him. He is only 23 and has much to learn on and off the field. This could be the making of him and also the making of our pack.

He was a very good player in 2017 one of Souths best props. Went off the rails last year but young and big. I’d be surprised if players aren’t being moved on as there is no chance he is one of the last two spots we have to fill otherwise we are toast.

That’s the hope

I'd love to see you attempt Momirovski….. :roll

I know the name but TBH cant recall the player. It would be easy to be drowned out in the Souths pack that has been pretty good for a few years now.

The New Coach isn't about to sign players that he knows will fail or dont have the drive that he is known for.

Good trainer and attitude is what we need

This player is a Known quantity as they have worked together.

I like

Without offloading any contracted players we only have two spots available and IMO we need real quality players to fill those two vacant spots. Okay people will say where are these quality players and My reply is…I don’t know, but there is always player movements due horse trading and salary cap issues. Musgrove would be a handy signing, but I would expect better if we only have two vacant spots. Of course if we offload a couple of plodders, sure go for it

Potential signings are no good without a highlights video..

Just don't admit to googling him…. You'll never live it down from those that know all

I trust Madge.

He knows that results are expected first up. He will be bringing in guys who will realise his vision.

just another plodder i quess

I have a good feeling about Musgrove. If Musgrove gives us more than Merrin at a 1/4 of the cost (estimate), we are on a winner. It is signings like this that make the difference to a team.

He will definitely give us more than Merrin would

Cooper Cronk says hello!

That is not really a fair comparison. Unlike in the halves, it is unnecessary to outlay large sums for props. If you do, such as for Woods and Klemmer, look at what happens. Musgrove from memory is a tough nut who makes good metres. Maguire from all accounts is a hard task master and I don't believe he would sign him unless he met demanding standards.
