He’s played less than 10 games in 3 years here, and has 3 more years to go. What a gig.

How did we give him 3 years? Absolute stupidity

He got 4

Holy crap

No it was 3. He's signed on until end of 2024, was already signed on for this year before getting the extension.

He'll be useless if he can't fix his foot injury. Two seasons now he's barely played any kind of footy

You’re splitting hairs. He was contracted for 4 years.

Not really, saying he signed for an extra four years could be perceived as him being here until 2025. It was a 3 year extension ??‍♂️

From December 2020 when he signed his new contract, he had 4 years to go. Talking about extending on a last year remaining is splitting hairs. Maybe not for him, cos money probably was different. For us as fans, he was here for 4 years. It was effectively a 4 year contract

Really depends on cost. He was supposed to be our aggressive forward leader that the coach wanted so If relatively small money probably worth the risk, given what we have seen so far from our starting props. Started well in the All Stars but got suspended. Came back and got dropped cause of middle defence issue. Went back to KOE and got injured and not seen since . Will he make it? Don’t think so . Can run hard but easily beaten laterally in defence and at his age not likely can be fixed.

From [last week's injury report](https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2021/07/14/chemist-warehouse-injury-report-round-18/) (14/7): *"Musgrove has been unsuccessful in a conservative management plan for his foot fracture — progressing him to a surgical repair and a non-weight bearing program for the next four weeks."*

Something about this seems very odd to me. We haven't heard boo about ZM or this "injury" since day dot.

We do seem to specialize in foot injuries to dodgy characters.

Wests Tigers can provide the following Chemist Warehouse Injury Report ahead of the club's Round 18 game against the Brisbane Broncos this Sunday at Suncorp Stadium.

As the playing squad and staff head north to Brisbane, winger AJ Kepaoa and forwards Russell Packer and Zane Musgrove will remain in Sydney as they continue to rehabilitate from their respective long-term injuries.

After sustaining an ACL tear earlier this year, Kepaoa is moving through rehab programs as expected is and is currently working through an intense strengthening program. He will return to running in the next four to six weeks as he eyes off a return in time for the start of the 2022 season.

Packer is continuing to work through his knee injury with a gradual increase in his running load at the moment, **while Musgrove has been unsuccessful in a conservative management plan for his foot fracture — progressing him to a surgical repair and a non-weight bearing program for the next four weeks.**

While the team is in Brisbane, all three players will continue their rehabilitation programs in Sydney under the NRL's COVID bubble restrictions.

You have to wonder why Packer isn't just sitting at home watching telly.
It's not like he's playing ever again

So 6-7 weeks if covid bubble rules are included might as well say his season is done
