I quite enjoyed looking back on these at seasons end

My predictions are as follows

Wests Tigers to finish 8 and be knocked out week 1

Rabbitohs to finish outside of the 8

Saints get spoon

Panthers and Storm GF with Storm winning

Stefano earns a debut with the blues and NSW win 3-0

Stefano playing Origin is a good shout.

I think if the Roosters stay fit they will be the team to beat

We’re bottom 4

Despite the hype, the Dogs to miss the 8.

Tigers make the 8

Panthers miss out on the top 4.

Dragons and Cowboys battle it out for the spoon.

England win the world cup at home.

England win the world cup at home.

If the NRL decides not to send a team from Australia and we are represented by the Aussies playing in Superleague, perhaps :)

That tip is based on the assumption that a few Aussies decide to stay home, and also plenty of NRL players choosing to rep for Tonga, Samoa etc over Australia.

It's definitely going ahead in the UK this year, they compromised last year by postponing it, they won't compromise again.

Along with the Dragons, we're hot favourites for the wooden spoon according to Sportsbet.

Tigers Make the 8
Tigers bow out week 2 of finals
Parra miss out run 9 th
Roosters V Melbourne GF
Roosters knock Panthers out to get there
Dogs miss the 8
Cowgirls get the spoon
Hastings Gets Tigers best player award

Tigers 9th
Parra out of 8 in straight sets again
Roosters to win the premiership
Penrith bottom half of the 8
Ken Maumalo top try scorer

1. Rabbitohs
2. Panthers
3. Manly
4. Storm
5. Roosters
6. Titans
7. Warriors

We come 8th after winning the final game vs Raiders in the last round, at a packed Leichhardt Oval.

We win vs a bashed-up Roosters side (5th) struggling to field a side after tough games vs Tigers in Rd 23 Storm 24 & Bunnies in Rd 25
We are considered no chance against Manly who went down to Penrith. But we flog them 36-4 after Starford T'oa cracks over for 4 tries!
Penrith are tough but belief in our culture gets us over the line with a gutsy 14-13 victory on the back of a Cleary brain snap giving away a penalty in front in the 79th minute! The GF is 1969 revisited - We are the underdogs and The Bunnies are red hot. But we are shown the replay of Rd 6 2021 match and Madge says "Be THAT Team, only this time @#$%&#$ win!"
And we do.
My crystal ball has fogged up so I can't see the score but the MOM is our halfback ... damn - that fog is thick - can't see his head!

Tigers! Tigers! Burning Bright
2022 feels just right!

Magpies are taking out that NSW Cup trophy.

That's a prediction I'm strongly backing this year.

Hopefully a few of the young lads get fast tracked into the team.

Spine consisting of:

1 Dillon
6 Madden
7 Tannous
9 Simpkin (or Liddle)
13 Guyan

Some talented backs, some promising forwards, few lads from the top 30 sprinkled through.

It's the team to watch this year.

Adam to return and combine PERFECTLY with Jacko in the halves.

Solidifying themselves as the halves pairing going forward, with the club wondering.... "What do we do with Brooks? Oh yeah, we owe Newy a favour for that Starford deal.... let's do that."

Also proving a lot of people wrong and silencing this nonsense that AD should play centre because it's what's needed for the team.... when Madge and Sheens have already stated AD'S future is in the halves.

Tigers to have a patchy year, yet storm home late in the season and secure 9th.
Bottom 4 will feature Newcastle, Parra, Warriors and Cowboys, with the Knights securing the spoon.
QLD will respond to their horrible 21 origin campaign winning 2-1.
Roosters will win the premiership.
Madge will not see the year out as head coach.
Covid will run rampant early on with most games affected and lots of players having to isolate.
At least 3 players will be arrested NRL wide during the season.
Phil Rothfield and Phil Gould will pass on this year.
Nathan Cleary will win the dally M

Great post @LeichhardtTiger

Cowboys, Dragons and Tigers to be in bottom 4.

Penrith Roosters GF

Knights =wooden spoon.

Forward heavy, average backs, no spine.

Show Pony Ponga, 1 man team.

I agree with knights being wooden spoon, no Pearce and Jayden Bradley long stint on sidelines with Achilles injury. FAIL
My very brave predictions and strike me down with a feather and spit in my general direction if I'm wrong are:
1. Oliver Gildart to score more than 10 tries FAIL
2. Stef to shine and make SOO playing squad FAIL
3. Hastings players player (proving he can be liked) FAIL
