We should sign Tariq Sims from the Dragons he & Papa would be awesome together in the second row along with Peachey at lock.
My starting & bench forwards for 2023 if we sign Sims would be:

I think he still has a couple of good years in him just imagine him & Papalii running the ball one after the other that’s what we have been lacking in the second row for a very long time.
He's already on the decline big time, no chance you'd give him more than a one year deal

He played state of origin last year I’m sure he has another two years
a year to start and a year on the bench possibly

Might have to look at the Super League and sign a couple of 2nd rowers from there, hoping that one turns out a keeper. I'm not saying we'd be lucky enough to get another Ellis, but even someone close would be magic.

if sheens has let him walk Maby he has a ready replacement lined up
Ellis was the best forward WT have had imo and probably the best English forward in the last 25 years.I doubt very much you will find anyone in the UK even close to him

When we signed Gareth he was considered the best 2nd rower in the world, not for his try scoring ability; but definitely his defence. Sheens & the Tigers of that period also turned him into a try scorer. I remember the interview he gave confirming this. He left as a year early on his contract & went back home. I believe that is when our premiership window closed for that group of players.
RE tuilagi - if a guy has signed elsewhere for 23 and is only a rookie surely we are better off throwing the game time at someone who will be here for 23 and possibly beyond if that is our premiership window
what's the go with garner, he was touted to manly for all of last year and remains un-signed next year is he done and dusted

Your probably right there .. they might just leave in the reggies .. I hear that young giant we signed from Newcastle is big guy and plenty of mobility .. bring him up for a few games on the bench.

We need to put our best players on the park each week. Yep sure if there are two options and you are on the fence go the option here long term. Otherwise best team
