Wests Tigers Centre of Excellence

Well i imagine that the roosters would be jealous of the Bra and Coogee both Souffs juniors and Bondi I think has one junior team. And don't forget the inner west also includes areas like Balmain, Birchgrove, Newtown etc etc etc.
Older houses in Concord are selling for at least $ 2 million and then being knocked down and rebuilt on the same land with houses worth over $4 million.

Plenty of very desirable places to live in the Inner West. You have Suburbs from Balmain to Hunters Hill and beyond with realestate on the harbour front. From Newtown through to Ashfield and Concord is in my opinion the most vibrate places in terms of going out to see music, restaurants, cafes and bars.
The West connect is going to make it a very quick trip to the Northern Beaches and to the greater West.

The inner west is a great place to live, we have lived in the inner west for over 24 years, Erskinville, Newtown & now Enmore. I have watched the demographics change in my street over the past 16 years from original ethnic population to young professional families and Enmore road from cheap & sometimes nasty restaurants, to top level eateries and wonderful little bars. Yet it still has retained some of the grungy inner city feel, which I love. Not every ones thing, but if you are into it; it is heaven

Part of the upgrade is that it is a space for community use
Building B will largely be for public use. Building A is for WT. The other gym, basketball courts, function centre etc will all be publicly accessible. The ground itself will likely only be available to resident teams, however may be available upon booking for matches (local footy comp finals etc) but you won't be able to just go kick a ball around with your mates on Concord Oval whenever you want.....

Exactly and has a publicly bookable space West Harbour have use of it.

As an update the build is approx 1 month behind schedule at present due to Covid and La Ninia (?)

I drove past this afternoon, and if there is a building anywhere near within 3 months of completion I didn't see it.

Where did you hear this from?
The access to Concord for West Harbour rugby has changed from Mid April to Mid May. We have been advised to re-arrange game schedules. As the Tigers and the Pirates share certain parts of Concord, change rooms, canteen, ground, parking etc it is assumed on my part that the Tigers will also be delayed a month. This was advised at a site meeting of the building works with builders and council

I was thinking about this...
So if we expand in the inner west we are going to get inner west recruits.

From a League perspective this isn't the best. You want your farmers sons who wressle cattle all day. You want kids in the Burbs who aren't going to uni but practice footy all day.

From a NRLW perspective.... This is great.
Were going to get bored trophy wives rocking up wanting to do something all day.
