Certainly not as fast nowadays and I expect to remain satisfied with the output from a lighter and fitter Maumalo on the left and the dollar difference going to keep Stefano and co to strengthen the middle or edges.

To be fair when he was 1st appointed that was going to be his role..He is very involved with that area of the Club..it's his priority.. obviously that changed and evolved..

Yeah I'm not so convinced about the whole "incredibly well run club" tripe that floats around the Roosters. Not having a shot at you personally by the way.
I just find it very hard to believe that the Roosters have some sort of 'Colonel's secret recipe' formula that not 1 other club in the comp has had the ability to emulate over the last decade or so. They may not be operating outside of the salary cap on the official books but it wouldn't surprise one iota if they are doing something outside the books to entice blokes there for supposedly bugger all money compared to what they get offered to go elsewhere.

It is not in the NRL's interest to catch a powerful club cheating.It would ruffle far too many feathers

They can't help it the officials and staff are very very very bad at golf and any player they want happens to be better than Tiger Woods

Absolutely he has done that and a great ambassador,
repect 🤜🤛.
I'm referring that, IMO, he wasn't a rampaging superstar but an honest player.
I lived in Townsville and saw a lot of his footy and stand by the fact that he was a steady realiable sort of player, hard to put him on his back and slow the play the ball.
I feel that the best is past him though.
I'll spew if someone like Thomas Mikaele or Zane Musgrove don't get a lot of game time because James T takes his spot only to be sitting on the bench for half the game.
Having said all that, injuries and COVID may completely prove me wrong. 🤣

Maybe that is why Tamou does not play that many minutes, to give the younger guys more experience.

If he's a bench player he needs to have an impact when he comes on. He certainly doesn't do that.
Even Lucy with all his flaws would have more impact because he's good in spurts, high energy.
He looks like he's our Captain this year and will get a run because of injuries. Hope he proves me wrong, he is more than capable!

How would he add anything to our side?
He hasn't played for what 4yrs +let alone been in training, is what 34 as well?

We have changed the image and have started to create a successful off field culture at the club - bringing in someone like Hayne would take us back a very long way. He wouldn't drive excellence or wins on the board that's for sure. We don't need him in any shape or form.

Besides which we took a punt on BJ which failed, we have another punt project in JTJ on a min contract and we also took a punt on Gildart. How many punt players do we need in our backline.
