Jeremiah Nanai would be an excellent signing. Hope we make a real offer to him, future star
Im assuming he’s a born and bred Nth Qlder. If that’s the case, it would take a hell of a lot to get an 18 year old like that down to Sydney. Especially when a handful of other clubs are also interested. Would be hard for us to stand out as the club to go with.

I think he is a NZer.

The word out of North Queensland is supporters are *issed that the club paid overs for young Luki, an inexperienced player who apparently had no intentions of leaving the club.
This coupled with the 700k+ signing of Leilua has made it impossible for them to retain Nanai who is fielding big offers.
Would we pay overs? Don't think so.
Between Nanai and Luki, it is Nanai who is rated the best prospect to come out of NQ since Taumalolo.
Big call!

Have to remember we have Pap signed for ‘23. I doubt we’d be getting into bidding wars for another back rower, prodigy or not. Now, if he was a centre, different story.

Haven't seen enough of him to have a great opinion, still, happy to roll the dice on Nanai if none of our current prospects look to have a similar expected ceiling.

I agree, the dolphins will chase him hard also. Not very hopeful of actually landing him

The pom already confirmed he intends to stay in qld unfortunately
not discrediting Pom's info and I've always loved his posts, but if senior management is now in the dark on football matters merely minutes before a signing is made then what he knows might be very outdated information.

our offer for Nanai is considerably better than the one from the cows and there's a clearer path to consistent footy with us. I'm probably wrong but who knows? stranger things have happened.

Situations change. His preference may have been to stay in NQLD but if that is no longer an option then he has to weigh up the other offers. Until he signs elsewhere there’s always a chance.

Daejarn Asi's manager is shopping him around and WT have shown strong interest. Off contract at the end of this year. I believe he can play centre.

Wonder what The Pom knows?

Pom mentioned prefer stay qld. Think we can say is would have to be a strong offer from us. Now that luki and Luciano have spots at second row could make space for him to leave, however number of keen parties by the sound of it
