I think his mate, Latu Fainu might be next.

I read that Samuela Fainu resigned til the end of 2024 with Manly. Have you heard he’s a chance of coming?

Manly forum seems pretty pissed to be losing him. Obviously a top young talent. But will still only be 18 next year, hope he plays some Flegg this season but may be unlikely now he's gone

Problem is at that age he may well play at 4-5 different clubs before he even sees 1st grade.
It's great that we are signing young talent with an eye to the future but IMO we need to be signing for the here and now- players that will make an immediate difference to our fortunes ie: Papalii and Api. Everybody knows that whenever a young player shows a glimpse of promise at any club the Roosters come calling with their undisclosed "bonuses" and not to forget Uncle Nick calling them at bedtime to read them a lullaby. Then they disappear into the Roosters ether.

Yes I agree but it can’t hurt going for some youth along side the signings you have mentioned. Signing a top line first grader for this season would be great but not too many players are lining up to join us at the moment. It’s like the Stadium debate though, if we start winning they will come

I'd say the plan is getting him in firsts quicker then most, we don't exactly have the bests centres holding him back, once he proves himself we'd be in the hot seat for an extension

Latu's been locked up long-term by Manly. he is the successor to DCE. special talent. tigerballs said we were after his brother Samuels tho so who knows.

6 tries in a game is always impressive. While some were just diving over in the corner there was still a bit of variety there too, sometimes hitting a hole, sometimes using power and the last one using a kick a regather.
