100%.Probably not, he just benefited from being in an average team and picking up majority of the man of match awards
Yet only the overall medal winner automatically gets the positional award, so his point score was only part of his. Debatable, maybe, but was certainly at the level of any other half under Cleary and his win was by no means a controversy.Probably not, he just benefited from being in an average team and picking up majority of the man of match awards
so the award doesn't suit so it is skewed ok..That was a skewed result, be real.

A bit of a risk seeing he's unsigned beyond this year. He might light it up under Sticky and bump his price. Keep him in our system for now, we need him imo. Rua needs a bit more time ...Jamal fogarty out for 4 months at Canberra
I wonder if we offer to send Madden to Canberra an opens up another spot on our roster for Rua and someone else
For some time Brooks has attempted to play like an organising 7,passing off to others (totally predictably)...and kicking on the 5th (again...totally predictably). He rarely runsYou know well that even when Brooks does receive recognition, he didn't deserve it. The thing with Hastings is he will only succeed if he has a partner in the halves with genuine pace. You and I know Hastings has no pace so while many believe Hastings will bring the best out in Brooks, I am of the view Hastings needs Brooks to bring the best out in him. Let's hope they both go well.
If Hastings or Brooks go down early(before Douhi returns)we dont have a lot of deoth...just MaddenA bit of a risk seeing he's unsigned beyond this year. He might light it up under Sticky and bump his price. Keep him in our system for now, we need him imo. Rua needs a bit more time ...
Peachey played a lot of 6 last year. Laurie can play 6.If Hastings or Brooks go down early(before Douhi returns)we dont have a lot of deoth...just Madden

The Dally Ms are always skewed.so the award doesn't suit so it is skewed ok..
he played very well in 2018 much better than some on here give him credit for,
Agree, Madden had very little football, especially in the top grade, and i mentioned in posts last year that i would have used him more. He is a natural half, is quick, tough ,has a good kicking game and a good football brain. I would persist with him, he just needs game time, i hope the spoilers on here give him a chance. He is developing nicely and until the last game has gone mostly unnoticed. Good young halves are in short supply so the answer imo is invest in him. Aren't we about backing youth? Not long ago many thought very little of the playing ability of Seyfarth, but he was always a very good player. Madden is of similar quality.
A D is a nice guy, but i did not see anything special in his stints at 5/8 , centre, or FB that makes him a walk up start in any position. He did show some class in a couple of games, and looked terrible in others. I pose the question, what other side would buy him for 5/8 or any other position?IMO now would be a good extend Doueihi‘s contract while he is injured and out of the mind of other clubs. Everyone sees him as Captain material and part of our long terms plans. Why wait until he is back playing and front of mind for other clubs? Do an extension now like we did with Utoikamanu until the end of 2025. Doueihi’s contract is up at the end of next season.
I liked him as a centre. My biggest knock on him as a 5/8, was his reluctance to pass to his outside men. As a centre, it was less of a drama, I thought. In a perfect world, our team is firing and he plays as our 14 when he returns from injury.A D is a nice guy, but i did not see anything special in his stints at 5/8 , centre, or FB that makes him a walk up start in any position. I agree he ran the ball well from 5/8 but didn’t ignite the backline. However he was often our best player last year (in a very average team). We are actively looking for a centre. He has a good goal kicking %. If he comes back and strings a few good games together his $ price will go up. IMO extend his contract now while other clubs aren’t thinking of him.A D is a nice guy, but i did not see anything special in his stints at 5/8 , centre, or FB that makes him a walk up start in any position.
