Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Problem is you can buy a decent house in Townsville in the $400k's - they don't need to pay as much if he wants to live there

Not how property works. In 10 years that house will be worth $480.00.....whereas Sydney property....

My point was (which I worded poorly) - if the guy wants to stay in Townsville you are going to have to pay a premium to get him to leave.

But for all we know he thinks Townsville is a dump. Who knows

No one is doubting he's a solid kid / player....
But he seems really rated here.
I can think quickly of a few second rowers coming through I'd prefer over him - That have been around a similar time.....
Alex Twal doesn't miss tackles either - He's no where near the best middle in the game.

I also saw Blore day dreaming and not getting to Dummy Half when he was closest to the ball in a game winning situation... He's shown promise - But 90% of rookies show promise.... He's got a ways to go

There's more that he needs to work on absolutely. But I do not endorse letting a player go who has what we need most - the ability to defend on the edge - and is still developing his attacking game. Do I think he should play origin? No. Do I think he is worth persisting with? Yes.

Don't disagree....
But we need to shoot higher than limbo on "hope" that he comes good....

We've had a gazillion Back Rowers with potential in the last 10 years.
Some even touted as the best juniors coming through - Rep players, Premiership winners and the like...

After 10 years - We've not had one amount to anything. Not one - Not here anyhow....
Again, If Shawn Blore is as high as we're aiming for a starting back row option...
We're going no where.

He's needs work, He needs guidance... And he needs to learn his craft from an established Back Rower.
Apprentices don't have apprentices....

And if he's "learning" Who's teaching our 4 Development Back Rowers?

BS story
funny we got Sheens and won a comp in 2005...

I can partly understand the reasons about why the WT have been the bread and butter for Ritchie and his mates for the past several years, but this story is beyond a joke, perhaps one day it could be mentioned in Bellamy's biography, or something that could be mentioned in a casual coffee chat, but it sure is not something that is newsworthy now.
I suggest these Jounalists have a closer look at the other clubs, i'm sure they'd find one or more newsworthy stories there, or is there something that is holding them back? we know about the clubs who are protected by the media but what's holding them back on reporting on the other clubs? By saying holding back i mean the journo's giving many versions of the same story until they are satisfied that the club has been damaged just a little bit more

Really Benji, you're employed by the club yet instead of saying you would love to have Nanai join us you push his current club to Re-sign him.
We still have a long way to go in recruitment
What Benji said was stupid. Maybe it is because he is getting paid much more by Fox than he is with Tigers.
