Yeah? If the extension offer is in your favour, there is nothing the other side can do is my understanding. They forfeited that when they offered the option, otherwise they should have agreed to a year shorter. Otherwise what's the point of the option in someone's favour?

Need to sign him before Souths realise that he's > Illias. A few more losses and they'll probably throw him in the 7 shirt and it will be too late.

I'm talking specifically about a mutual option. They're not as common as club or player options.

We should be. Seems a natural talent. Guess it would depend upon the $$$ involved. Will someone take a Newcastle/Ponga punt on him and give him plenty? I don't think we can go too crazy and leave nothing in the piggy bank for other signings.

I think Maumalo is one of the best wingers in the comp. We just need to use him more, whether that is via the centre passing or crossfield kicks, he should be on the scoresheet most weeks.
Noffa is what he is. He has value in the starting of sets and can finish a try. Wonder if he should defend in the centre postion, with a winger outside him telling him when to come in etc?

Centre is all about decisions. Nobody is telling you what to do you need to read the play and act quick. It’s the hardest place to defend. Noff makes rash decisions and would be an epic failure there.

He hasn't trusted his inside men for years tbh.. Reminds of the old Brooks needs better players around him chestnut (but lets not go there). Stop backtracking and sliding on a sweep play.. trust your man, hold your line and mark up on your opp number .. There, problem solved haha

Outside defence has been abysmal for years because of our ruck defence. I remember Elijah Taylor gave away a thousand penalties in the ruck but he was the only one slowing the play the ball down. Usually we are backpedaling on the last tackles and when they swing it we are immediately out numbered. Noff is at fault as well but lot of blame has to go to the forwards and markers for being lazy
