Marbles were around when I was a kid but losing.polularity....never knew how to play.
Used em as weapons mainly.... Good for big slingshots which I made plenty of.... Also Billy carts

They made a comeback when I was in primary school. One of those things that was briefly in fashion for a while along with Pog, Tazos, jacks, even yo-yos at one point.

used to enjoy footy card flinging game at school cant remember exactly how it worked. but i think it was, if your card landed on another you got to keep both. You mostly used cards you had doubles of and could afford to lose.

I remember my local Video Ezy selling basketball cards. I wish I was that old again not a worry in the world.

Wow I played when I was a kid I was good very good but did not continue I never new there was another level what was the magazine in dodgeball ? Something Sports weekly ?

On April 9, 2019, German side MC Erzgebirge beat Black Dog Boozers to become the current world marbles champions. It was the seventh time MC Erzgebirge won the title. By reaching the final for the 20th time, Black Dog Boozers equalled the achievement by Telcon/Toucon Terribles. The Boozers won the title 14 times, the Terribles win it 18 times. The winners in 1932 were the Black Horse.

The British and World Marbles Championship is a marbles knock-out tournament that takes place annually on Good Friday and dates back to 1588.
Australian participants have dwindled due to covid and carefactor. This must stop!
