I have always defended Brooks, but can’t do anymore. Not since Buzz said that he TWICE asked for a release over the summer. His heart is not in it for what ever reason. Perhaps he has a problem with other players or coaching staff? Or is WT still a victim of his man agent and is Brooks caught in the cross hairs? Who would know? All I know is this can’t be healthy for anyone involved.

I'm the same mate, always try to focus on the positives when things get tough but geez it was bloody tough against the Knights.

Do you believe Buzz? Not saying it isn't true, I have no idea, but I wouldn't just be taking Rothfields word for it.

As a long time supporter of Brooks, I certainly believe something has to change. He either stays at the tigers and plays 9 or 6, or leaves. He can't wear the 7 anymore, for his own sake as well as the teams.

Captain Ken 5 errors and 80mtrs, didn't chase 1 high kick and couldn't get close to support
Hastings break. The Captain led by example & the team followed him.

Stefano is our big forward leader made 44mtrs, 9 off a kick off. Our front row enforcer!!!

Kelma 46mtrs and 72% tackle effectiveness (missed 4 and ineffective on 3). I call him flash, does 1-2 good things a game which everyone remembers but does the rest ordinary.

Gildart run down whilst open, 77.78% tackle effectiveness

Laurie field positioning, errors, defensive miss reads

Seyfarth 37mins and made only 26mtrs also missed 3 tackles & made an error.

Only players who played better against the Knights than Storm was Hastings (debatable after his terrible 15mins that was very costly), Simpkin (the kid had a big dig) & JTJ which says alot really.

hhmm unfortunately for some on here reality doesn't work like that
Brooks is on 850 or 900k and if we want to offload him and say warriors want to pay 400k then we have to pay twh balance 500k
hey we are paying mmbye about that....
If Douhie was fit they may have moved Brooks on at start of year but he is not and Madden is not ready and Hastings has a go but is as slow as the titanic

Bag Brooks oh Buzz must be right
Buzz has a go at any other player and he is ridiculed.
Sheens will not let Brooks go when we don't have a git douhie and Sheens sees Hastings as a lock.

The point was that if Brooks wants out it's all on him and we pay nothing as we just yeah c ya cancel your contract and Hondo what you want

Mbye we had no option as he would've stayed just to get his money but we wanted him gone so we payed some of his contract

Like every single player on Sunday, Brooks was not good. That said and further to your point above, the ridiculous commentary on performance began from the first set of the match, some absolutely absurd regarding Brooks.

After our forwards got WT to the point where the last tackle kick was taken some 18 metres short of halfway and into a strong headwind. It was caught just outside the red Newcastle 20 metre line despite the stiff breeze.

A 45 metre gain in such conditions was about the best to hope for and should have been applauded, yet it was described as garbage as the knives came out early to start proceedings. WT were owned from the kick-off and up until late in the match.

I would like somebody to answer me this question about passing right to left or left to right and why everyone defends players that can only pass right or left in one of the highest skilled games in the world...

I know I will have my detractors in this comment,however here goes,,,

I played inside centre,outside centre and wing almost all of my playing career in rugby league and schoolboy rugby union...

Why is it that I had to be able to pass left if a scrum was on the far right hand side of the field with accuracy and composure while if on the far left hand side of the field I had to pass the ball right with accuracy and composure ...if I didnt I was replaced by someone who could,,as the coach said your in the game because of your skills,if you cant play to those skills your wasting your time and mine...?

Lol James roberts had a heart attack when he had to throw right to left yesterday. Got what we paid for.
