Correction from earlier.
8 games out of 24 he polled 3 points.
1/3 of the season he was considered the best player on the field for the Tigers and considering the opposition.,,,

He may of not been the best player of the round at any given time however it’s still a fair effort to be voted the best player of a match 8 times.
I’m pretty sure the commentary this year was that Tom Turbo polled 3 votes in 9 matches last year.
Anyway I don’t think he will get back to that form again but he’ll always have that achievement.

4 years ago your child won a ribbon in a school race, whereby there were only a few participants and all the good athletes were sick. You know it was a hollow victory, but at the time that doesn't matter and certainly does not stop you celebrating their achievement. And rightly so!

But 4 years later you are still endlessly reminding everyone about that race and using that as your source of praise?

Agree with everything you said (I even mention he Bradbury'd it)

For whatever reason, He was the better and most consistent half that year...
There's folk here that claim he wasn't, But he got the awards (They're not judged on Forums)
Doesn't mean we wouldn't have traded him for Cronk in a heartbeat... It simply means - In that year - for the majority of the year - He played well - And he played consistently.... Moreso than the other Halves of 2018.

And comparing him to your recent memory of Cleary - As to Cleary 4 years ago is an out and out joke...

The whole world new Cleary wasn't ready for Origin that year, But they picked him as they new he would be eventually... And also picked him under instruction from Gus - That they also pick Maloney to protect him. Which he did.

Cleary did not a lot in those early origins... In fact, You wouldn't have to go far far to find an argument that he has doesn't much in Origin until the last couple years....
Arguments of that nature are very easy to find.

Just got some mail that tigers would like to offload Brooks but destination only wants to pay 400 of 850. Madden has offers from 5 clubs for immediate release and tigers not budging. Club appears to be stuck. To me it explains the lack of desire last weekend.
