Funny how when some were saying we should go for Nicho , we got shut down....

And now he's having a break out year everyone is a fan.

I remember the off season mate and what people were saying.

Did you watch any of their other players and notice how much better they are than ours, or was it just the halfback?

Comes down to desire. He just doesn’t care enough. There was a bomb in the second half that he completely backed out of at the last minute. He’s a long way from players like Hodgson, Preston, Bowen and even Barba who were of similar size but always put their bodies on the line

The guys heart isn't in it, for our club.

Not impressed.
 
Look we have to realise our squad sucks, and not only does it suck, we are missing a bunch of our starting 17. It sucks that we are losing and making errors but I can’t fault the effort of the players. They are trying, Ik it sucks but our club has always been weak. It’s a tough period for the club but this is the time we harden up mentally. I support madge and sheens in this rebuild. We will become a successful club for many years I have no doubt about that. Fire up boys the glory days will come

We can only speculate what would have happened if they didn't cheat, dropped down the ladder, and had to struggle like everyone else to get back to the top.

Tigers on the other hand are rarely at the top of the ladder, and because basically the same teams populate the Bottom 8 every year, there's a clear advantage if you can maintain a winning run.

In other words - if Tigers cheated the cap for 3 or 4 years, even if we were found out and heavily sanctioned, could that possibly be enough of a platform to keep ourselves near the top?

The proof of this!
2011 (hope I got the year right) we had so many backended players and we make the semi's. Fifita and Woods made such an impact.

Yet we couldn't get past the Bulldogs who backended Greg Eastwood 900K in his last season.
