Forget about dillon for first grade at this club for a couple of reasons, he needs time, I’m not saying he will ever be as good as papenhuyzen, but I watched papenhuyzen and he couldn’t handle reserve grade when first played it, he was timid and rag dolled and mr Mac and others didn’t see it in papenhuyzen, so they let him go. We didn’t want him. Unfortunately we don’t have time for a dillon to sit in reserve grade, make mistakes be inconsistent, get stronger, gain confidence etc…. We have nobody in reserve grade to help the youngsters progress, and it doesn’t matter how dillon plays, macdonell doesn’t like him.

Yeah so Round 14 is AD's return date once he is nearing return the swap talks will heat up in a straight swap for Luke Thompson we will most likely be paying some of Brook's deal. Dogs need to move Thompsons contract due to its size they cannot fit Kikau and Mahoney and need to move it early

Thompson is on pretty much same $s as Brooks.

There is a long way to go this season. Let's see what happens. Personally I think the big issue right now is fullback. That needs to be sorted.

I don't see trade deals happening very often and I'm very skeptical that the trade deal mentioned will happen.

I like Nat Butcher, he's a certain starter for us. Does the little things right, covers a lot of ground in defence, comes from a winning team and would want to prove that he's better than Crichton/Tupinoa... he'd have some motivation to want to better himself.

Eagan is definitely a talent and a half.

I see douehi as the backup 6. If we let brooks go now we only have 2 halves and one is suspended.

I would say Sheens doesn't believe in the players we have now more than the coach otherwise Madge would've been gone last year.

Sheens was open about his expectations this year - he knew our current squad wasn't going to make the top 8. Next year we improve and year after we make a run.

IMHO, most of our players are below their earlier performance, including Laurie and Brooks, Nofoaluma etc.
Laurie was and still is our best FB, if he has some issues these needs to be identified and corrected, and if he cannot improve lets search for the new FB. And I repeat, of the players we have ATM he is our best FB by miles!
