Apparently we asked for Walsh in an early Walters swap and they said no , released him to NZ some weeks later.

Asked about Selwyn Cobbo - knocked back and tried to get Shuster in the Aloiai deal but also knocked back.

We seem to be going for the right players - Brimson, Sami, Saab etc. They just don't seem to want to be here....

The way I see it at the Tigers, its an opportunity. You play a little above average and you receive an inflated contract until age 33. Its a destination club.

I’d definitely look at Xavier Savage if he’s off contract, gonna be hard for him to get consistent football at fullback with CNH there

Kid looks good and has rapid speed. He’s a better fullback prospect than Laurie imo and he’s also only 19.

Savage, AD and Hastings isn’t a bad spine imo with Api coming in next year.

Laurie needs a stint in reserve grade to get his confidence back up a little and see what he can do from there
