Why don't we declare no home ground, play at a different ground all year long and call ourselves the Wests Tigers Wanderers!

We can merge with that Soccer team, except I think they play at the same home ground even though they are called Wanderers.

A solution is needed and our culture and identity as a club has suffered. It is one reason why we haven't made the finals. A minor reason but a reason.

And if that private owner decides to sell the licence to a WA businessman for a quick profit? I can imagine our ol' mate Benny doing something like that. Using his profile to secure the licence, then selling 5 minutes later. Resulting in the Perth Pirates taking our place.
I also follow the NFL and it must be heartbreaking for cities/regions to lose their teams to another location and have them renamed. What is worse is when your team tanks for it's last couple of years, in your town, so it can hit the ground running in it's new location, with higher picks/better players, like the Raiders just did. So fans go to the games, watch their teams lose, then get to say goodbye.

That's not exactly how it works in NRL, right? NRL owns the actual club competition licence, so they have final say on teams coming/going within the NRL.

Private ownership would mean selling of the Wests Tigers football club entity to another individual / business and requesting the NRL honour the change of ownership for the NRL licence.

Isn't Wests Tigers technically privately owned anyway? Wests Ashfield have it lock-stock-and-barrel and the WT board does not answer to the WA members.

Correct, but I imagine that if the new owner wanted to relocate out of Sydney the NRL wouldn't take too much convincing if it was a desirable (from Foxtel's point of view) location, such as Perth. It would be Wests Ashfield selling to an individual or consortium. I also think that the Tiger's brandname is protected. Someone closer to the club or better versed in these things can probably correct me though.
 
Like most recruitment guys he has identified many a good young footballer and on the other hand signed many to good contracts and done them favours overs the years and they still didn’t make it. That’s the role though. Depending on who you talk to, who you know, and if you have played and worked with warren , opinions vary greatly, about his eye for talent and his personality. Time will tell with Mr Mac, he’s an acquired taste so to speak.

I thought Logen Dillon had a lot of promise and should've been fast tracked through cup ready for first grade in 2023 and the club has dropped him to Ron Massey Cup.

I've seen enough from Zane to know he has a lot of talent at his age and with the right development he could go on to be a successful first grader. At our club or another.

Not up to me tho.
