TEAM LIST Wests Tigers Team v Gold Coast Titans

Team List
Sometimes they do - Depends on the Club, Player and Situation.
Mostly though, They don't.
Some clubs - The injured players don't even attend local away games.

It's a nothing story...
We're already flying extra men we won't need with the covid protocols,
We've got a pretty extensive injury list - I can see why the knocked them back.
Can't have the whole squad flying around the country to watch the team.
They're going to work - not holidays.

That said, I also think AD and JH have a higher standing in our squad than the likes of Talau and Asu

Talau? That guy is still around?

I wanted to compare the whole Hastings thing to point out a contrast between this situation and the Packer Jrey thing at Brookvale if memory serves me correctly. This bloke is so desperate to support his team he buys his own ticket to do it. The others left at half time because they were cold.
Culture starts from within someone has to go about changing it, hopefully this is the catalyst.

Do we know it is the Board? The article refers to Tigers' Management. It should be WTs' management but I agree with management. Obviously someone more in tune with the precedent potentially being set has intervened.
Wouldn't have been Pascoe, he would have been happy to see the boys travel up and assist with the hat sales.

On a serious note, if key players are unavailable for selection then I thinks it's common sense to have some of them in the coaches box.

It's a perfect opportunity to see at first hand various aspects of what the coaching staff are seeing live during a game rather than the usual post game video sessions.

Sheens made the decision and good on him. Doueihi should be in Sydney doing extra rehab to get back on the field rather than being in a crowded and tight cabin with a dodgy knee.

I’m a fan of team support , those 2 are leaders in this club and if they wanted to go and support our team so be it , geezus return flights to Gold Coast $ 140 in fact if there was 5 players who wanted to follow our team up there specially where we are on the ladder , getting the guts bashed out of us in the media , so be it showing some loyalty and support to your team mates is good , piss poor decision by who ever made it

For Christ's sake the guy is not a cripple he's not in a wheel chair, he's been running around kicking a ball in recent times. The trip is perfect grooming for a team leader and prospective future captain.

Probably sits in a car in Sydney traffic for longer periods on a daily basis going to training or rehab than the amount of time he would be compulsorily confined to an airline seat on a flight to the Gold Coast.

He not going to London for the World Cup Challenge, which hopefully he will do one day with this team.
