Jock Madden

I see you're not going to answer my question. Well there you go. As Keating said "all tip no iceberg".
I answered it. You just don't like the answer and like a toddler, you put your fingers in your ear. I can't help you and am not going to try to. As the saying goes; "Arguing with an idiot is like playing chess with a pidgeon. It'll just knock over all the pieces, poo on the board, and strut about like it's won anyway."

Jock is certainly a bright spot from the night.
He's been handling first grade well and I'd love to see him stick around. He seems more assertive than brooks.

Watching the game I was thinking, perhaps, considering our hooking problems, we could try:
9. Brooks
7. Madden
6. Douhei/Hastings?

Don't see why not. In his limited time there yesterday, Brooks service was better than both Liddle and Simpkins. AD at 6 and Hastings at lock could be very intersting

Worth a shot

if only they would try this

A member said recently some players are like a diamond in the rough.
This ones cheap at the moment but as history has it, after we put the the effort in raising these kids into first graders we lose them to go to Melbourne to become stars.
Resign this guy whilst still cheap.
He will be valuable next year and beyond.

fact is we were winning until madden dropped the ball in our in goal. last week we lost cause, Laurie dropped a ball. GC hadn’t scored until that moment neither.
Two plays by two rookies. I’m sure if we look at turning points in our games, the story will be the same.
The higher the proportion of rookies in the team, the more recurrence of those fundamental errors which put us under pressure. This highlights our lack of success with recruitment and retention. Since Sheens returned there have been some positive signs, but I don’t think the board realised the extent of ongoing damage they inflicted on us, by thinking they could do all that themselves.

We've been close but we've also been really poor. If you are building a premiership winning team a fair few changes in our spine are required.

I cant blame that try being scored on Madden, its the way the game goes, however,if Brooks doesnt get penalised for a lazy head high tackle and march the Titans up field to capitalise on that opportunity, then we win the game....10 year veteran compared to a1st year FG Nrl player....

cut it however you want blame whoever you want. Fact is madden drops the ball titans score. He holds possibly different outcome. Brooks doesn’t make the tackle/effort they possibly run the length of the field and score. It is all what ifs but what is fact is madden dropped the ball and they scored.
