He has split them a couple of times. It's just the last pass that is going astray. Roberts has also looked sharp.
I reckon they both deserve a fair few more chances.

I don’t mind gildart if he isn’t playing who is there instead? Jr pangi? Where in trouble if he’s our first choice centre

There will be a clean out at the club this year. Madge and Brooks wont be at the club next year. They will be lucky to be at the club mid season.
It wouldnt surprise me if we give a rookie coach a go.

Rookie coaches are lambs to the slaughter at this club.
It's even more indictive and a serious enditement that the club doesn't know that we very quickly need more talent back up in the centre positions.

While ever the playing group as a collective is the weakest in the competition unless the coach has a magic wand he is being set up to fail, experienced or not. There is a reason the Roosters target the best players available to maintain their position, and why Gus was behind the Bulldogs massive recruitment to support a coach with a reputation, but without the troops to deliver.

However, Izack Tago….. I’d throw a lot of money at him he looks to be an absolute superstar!
Him and AD could be a very dangerous long term centre partnership imo
As much I hate Penrith, you gotta give Gus credit for building the junior system they have there, they’re just breeding weapons non stop and Ivan is just jumping on the coattails of it
Gildart has had 3 games, I think he needs more time, pommy player take time to adjust. The dogs wanted to punt Thompson after three games but now he has value
They are best mates so I imagine he would be fine with coming to us if that’s why Thompson, Gildart and Hastings took charge in a Lions tour and were pretty solid already have 2 so can’t see why we can’t land the 3rd

Pommy outside backs rarely make it out here. I say rarely because Herbie Farnworth can play. But that’s it.
If we can give Brooks close to 200 games before deciding its not working out then Gildart should get more time before deciding to move him on
