I wish that moron would just shut his mouth and leave it to the football department to dismiss the rumours.

I heard it, He seemed fairly stern on it.
I don't mind him speaking out on it...
He's the very top - And the way it was delivered, It seemed genuine.

As he said, If this was any other industry - This would be considered harrassment.
Also said, all this stuff is being planted in the media by people with other agendas.
I find it funny that Luke Brooks Wages go up a couple hundred k, We're getting a new coach and swapping the half back with the Dogs all at the same time.

It's almost like, Someone has been screaming and no one is listening...
So that someone just screams louder and louder until they get what they're after....

Pure mud slinging of course. As soon as anyone tells you they know what Luke Brooks is being paid, unless the words are emanating from Luke Brooks himself, you can be assured they are guessing.

Why would Tigers swap an average halfback for a guy who cannot even displace Brandon Wakeham as first-choice Dogs halfback.

Wests Tigers respond to claims that Michael Maguire could be heading for Super League

Wests Tigers have responded to claims that Michael Maguire could be heading for the exit.

There were claims from the Daily Telegraph that Maguire could have been heading for the door to be replaced by Kyle Flanagan’s father, Shane.
Shane Flanagan is currently in a backroom position for the St George Illawarra Dragons, but may well be tempted by the lure of a head coaching role.

For his son, Kyle, he has yet to take the 2022 NRL season by storm and has instead been plying his trade in the reserves.

That also prompted speculation that Flanagan could be involved in a sensational swap-deal with much maligned Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks.

Wests, however, have denied those rumours point blank with the club also denying that it is considering making a play for Flanagan’s father, Shane, to replace Michael Maguire as coach.

Leeds Rhinos chief executive, Gary Hetherington, is currently undergoing a fact-finding trip in Australia, desperate to find a new head coach that can turn around the Yorkshires fortunes in 2022.

Richard Agar stepped down as boss a fortnight ago with Jamie Jones-Buchanan taking over as interim head coach.

However, Leeds have just one win in eight games so far in 2022 so Hetherington’s trip has become all the more important.

Any thing to make a headline

Found this interesting .. so I'll just stick it here..

The Bulldogs spent almost $2 million on improving their attack but they’re in danger of turning one of the game’s most exciting playmakers into a one-dimensional kicking machine.
Burton doesn’t have a line break, try or try assist to his name since becoming a Bulldog and has gone from kicking 3.5 times per game at Penrith to 13 at his new club.

Chairman Lee just on SEN pouring cold water on the BS of a swap with Bulldogs for Brooks. Also said that Brooks was not on social media
He said the same thing about josh aloiai he didn’t say brooks is going to mow the lawns did he?

I always saw Burton as a 3/4.

Flanagan in demand, but not at the Tigers

The hottest rumour around the NRL late last week was that the Tigers were poised to sack coach Michael Maguire - and replace him with former Sharks coach Shane Flanagan.

I'm hearing that is unlikely to happen, but there is a club in the hunt for Flanagan and son Kyle in a package deal - English Super League outfit Leeds.
