2022 Membership info

Each package counts as a membership, if someone buys a membership for all grounds that is one membership. Where is it does double up is when people buy multiple packages i.e a LO membership and a CSS membership.
 
Can't agree with the double dipping boosting the numbers, especially when other clubs may only have one home ground and may not have the ability to boost membership numbers by doubling up.

Thanks for the clarification which I take as being correct knowing how close you are to the club.

To be fair it would be a very small number. You can buy the following packages:
All games
LO and CSS
CSS and commbank
commbank and LO

The only reason someone would buy two packages would be to sit in different areas I.e.
genera admin LO and CSS
Reserved seating - commbank
 
So you are sure that if you have a LO and CSS membership you are definitely counted as 1 member and not as 2 memberships. I have had various memberships for a number of years and was quite surprised to be advised by the club that we have reached 20K members considering how we are performing on field and what the clowns in the media keep piling on us.

Quite surprising when you keep hearing from so called supporters on here that they have not had a membership for years and have no intention of getting one any time soon or ever again.

May very well be that those clowns in the media are actually giving us a leg up by constantly writing articles about us or that there are quite a few people who do not want to admit that they are members due to poor on field performance or for whatever reason are too embarrassed to admit that they have forked out hard earned cash to the club.

Imagine what our numbers might be if we were actually killing it on the field and all the closet supporters came out into the open and wanted to jump on the band wagon..

If you have 2 single ground package it is counted twice, otherwise it is counted once. The packages are counted.
 
It’s insane too think even with an 11 year finals drought tigers still have the 6th highest membership numbers of any other club. !

20K Captains !

So do you as a member want to be counted as 1,2 or 3? It's your choice.

This to me looks like the art of a shrewd businessman,
It would have been bloody nice if they had used this art to sign some quality players in the past.

I only want to be counted once, but what I do find interesting is that Souffs, as of a few days ago have 30,277 members.

I think in their case they just count the total number of teeth that their membership have.

As I was correctly informed by another forum mate, we are not members but season ticket holders.
The statement by the club to say we have reached this awesome figure is a fight for credibility which we are lacking as a footy side.
It's a tv sport anyway. How many members actually tune in to watch tigers play, heaps I would imagine.
Remember, if the tigers play well then the NRL benefits.
As we are a joint venture of Balmain and Western Suburbs, there are thousands of supporters sitting in the background keeping an eye out for our progress or lack thereof.
Once we start playing well, watch them come out of the woodwork.
Look what happened in 05.
Our success sprung the NRL into the limelight.
The media are still hanging onto the flick pass from Benji.
Even though I'm an interstate season ticket holder and cant get to all the games, I like to think me turning up to 3 games is a way of showing my stripes.
 
Well I was called today by the membership team asking if I wanted to renew my membership and it still wasn’t too late. After 8 years of being a member I decided I would not renew this year mainly because we continue to go backwards each season.

I found it odd that they would call me after being 0 - 4 and seeing if I was interested?

My feedback was that next season with the dolphins entering the comp and myself being Brisbane based where I can actually go and support a team that any new membership would be with them.
