Yeah injuries definitely make a huge impact on the team we put out. Eg. if AD, Talau and Kepaoa are available, the back line immediately gets replaced with current players in NRL or some names mentioned above.

I also feel the scheduling has been very strange for a few games this year meaning NRL quality players are unable to play due to potentially being needed for first grade. Eg. a Monday game vs Newcastle with a short Friday turn around for NRl against Warriors on Friday. Then this round having KOE on Saturday with NRL on Sunday.

Just goes too show how big a step from Flegg too Cup , our Flegg team was killing it last year but now those players are struggling , another dumb move from the club letting go a lot of the better players from Cup last year

Too early to say. There’s no point winning NSW Cup with players who are never going to be NRL standard. Hopefully these kids develop over the season and rise to the challenge. Newtown were unbeaten. Results don’t bother me, effort and improvement does.
 
Just walking out now, what can you say, Rua injured again, not one player in this side should even be considered for nrl atm, dillon at least caught all the bombs and poked his nose threw a couple of times, is definitely injured, saw the warm up , he’s injured for sure, tupou what cat doubt he’s got any ticker, seen him play twice live, don’t anyone say he’s a gun, he’s doesn’t want the contact. Well you know my thoughts on the forwards.

Not great involvement demps, but he’s only young coming into a forward pack that gets rolled through the middle every week, and to be honest I haven’t seen to much of him, so I’m loathe to comment on him. I think stevanovic gave them 7 tackle restart maybe 4 times.

I really get annoyed when fans continually screech about how good our Flegg boys are. It’s where the hypetrains begin.
Jersey Flegg is to the NRL what Sumo Wrestling is to the Luge.
Anyway, just as suspected…
