Teal and Seyfarths defence has always been good. It's their running that's the issue..always in 2nd gear haha..

Hastings threw everyone off, he was at the front and signalled to Liddle to throw the pass to Brooks behind him

Created a ton of space for Brooks to slot it

There was a change in the grass/ old line markings almost exactly where he was standing and kicking from . Ken had a foot in the lighter shade grass and Hastings was kicking from the darker shade . Go back and watch it .

It was obvious though . Hey I’m all for ref bashing , we cop out fair share of garbage calls , but that wasn’t us being dudded by the refs , it was the footy gods deciding we would kick it right in line with an old line marking.

He actually spoke about on fox after the game. Was saying he wants to be remembered for making his team mates better and how it’s not about him. Seems a totally different personality to what he was in his last NRL stint

Exactly, I've seen us get the raw end calls like this , even when it looks obvious that their offside, its usually too hard to call. Again its the better sides getting the green calls.

I reckon thats a throw off by Hastings, i reckon he said to Brooks your up they will come at me. Hes doing a great job of taking all the media scrutiny off Brooks, i cant believe the change in him hes all about the team whereas before he was all about himself. Its a credit to him to recognise his flaws and rebuild himself.
