Tapine is one of Canberra’s best players, I can’t imagine they’re moving him on.

That said, I hope it’s true.

Joseph Tapine is a madman. One of those guys with X factor who can do something dumb, then do something brilliant to win you a game off his own back. You want those types of player in your team. Has the odd stinker in him, but he is generally a consistently good player.

Just checked zero tackle for off contract lists. Has it been mentioned that Jack Wighton has an option in his favour for the following two years so as of now he is effectively off contract.

Nah it happened pretty early on media covered it for awhile then moved on to Api

I would love to see Wighton under Bennett. I reckon he could get the best out of him.

Fair enough,
Dare I say it, it would also open up a spot for Brooks to change clubs.
Alongside Foggerty as a controlling half he would possibly be a good addition for them.

I cannot believe that we are looking for improved recruitment yet in the last 4 pages I have seen names tossed up like Jesse Arthurs, Morgan Harper and Jack Wighton.

How about we not recruit from struggling sides and focus on the rated juniors from Penrith, Storm and Roosters that cannot get a gig due to the volume of talent these clubs have.

I have a lot or time for Tapine and believe Aitken has merit too - but again if true we are recruiting from teams already struggling.

Pretty sure he is off contract this year, very little talk of where his future lies from the media, so maybe no suitors. l would offer him a 2 year deal with the second year a mutual option to see if he can tow the line this time.
