Injuries

Injuries are part and parcel in Rugby League not ideal ...next man up mentality provides opportunity ..so far blokes like To'a, Garner, Seyfarth, Twal have lifted performances...

This s what top Clubs do..

Keep building..

This thread aged like a fine wine. OP called it we would have won even if it just was Laurie in the team much less all the other injuries.

Well if you believe the forum insider, The Pom... Liddle has been told he's free to find a new club.

I liked Egan Butcher when we were rumoured to be after him.
I like him and until Api's signing was happy for himto stay but Api should be an upgrade and with Simpkins coming on unfortunately Lids is surplus to needs.

Manly will be without outside backs Brad Parker and Jason Saab for at least the next three matches after the pair picked up injuries in Round 9.

According to a club statement, Parker partially tore his ACL and will begin rehabilitation work for the next month before being assessed further, while Saab will miss the next three to four matches with a toe ligament injury.

Knowing our luck Turbo will be back

I cannot believe the poor luck we've had with long-term injuries over the past 9-12 months both at senior but also development/rookie level:

Adam Doueihi - ACL
Asu Kepaoa - ACL, Pec
Daine Laurie - Ankle, MCL
James Roberts - Back
Tommy Talau - ACL
Shawn Blore - ACL
Brandon Tumeth - Back Stress Fractures
Apisalome Saukuru - ???
Liam Scolari - ACL
Rua Ngatikaura - Ankle
Brandon Webster-Mansfield - Knee
Mikey Tannous - ACL, Shoulder

Twal and Tamou seem to have gained a bit of pace or did I have the remote on fast forward?
I WISH Twal could develop an off load he's to predictable hitting up getting tackled the opposition read him like a book needs to put doubt in defenders minds

Getting hipdropped in tackles?

😂 you’re right, they are moving faster. I think it’s called hysterical strength/energy, you know? The type of motivation that allows a woman to lift a car off her trapped child .
