Thanks mate, I've got nothing to do tonight so ill check all that.
You still haven't told me what your selection alternative was for that game.
Do you think all this anxiety is worth it though. Do you really think he's the cause of the loss, considering what happened in the leadup to the game
and are you sure you haven't seen any improvement in him?
I see your referring to another table?
Assuming Maumalo is back this week, I'd replace him with Kepaoa. If he's not, then Peachey to centre.

I haven't seen enough improvement in him no. That table is a stat called try causes which attributes how many tries each player is responsible for letting in: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...5EA6791ABE4&category=defence&sortBy=tryCauses

He's a 25 year old centre who has played for his country so I expect better. I'd much rather blood a young player we've invested in like Tupou or someone else who is coming through.

Don’t know if I’m reading this correctly, but Gildart appears to step very well and has some pace, with the ball. However, without the ball he looks slow and appears to lack urgency?

Maybe unfair, but after his efforts with that Ben Hunt try (which effectively turned that game) and also the Keaon try which also almost lost us the game against Souths, he's bought himself atleast a few weeks in reserve grade. Those were criminal judgements, I'd only imagine he's picked now as a result of no alternatives with injuries, but even then I'm sure something can be sought.

If we have a fit second row next week - My centres are Peachey and Garner.

Peachey plays centre - Liddle (Or someone else to bench)
Gildart... Oranges.
But it didnt happen that way did it, do you know all the things that's happening behind the scenes with Liddles injury and other logistics but it's all Gildarts fault.

Gildart is finding the speed and power of the NRL too much. He’s avoiding collision due to lack of strength. He’s trying to tackle at a distance and not getting in close and it’s leading to east misses, misreads and complete air swings in defence. Has great feet in attack but lacks genuine pace.

Basically what a lot of posters were saying before he signed. I reckon he can come good but has to hit the gym and spend the rest of the season in NSW cup and try again later in the year.

I'm not blaming Gildart...
He seems to try, Doesn't seem like a bad bloke

He's just a bad footballer.... I'm not the only one who thinks it.

Liddle played Reserve grade - Can't have been injured.
No it didn't happen like that, But maybe it should.

After watching Saukuru in KOE he has a higher ceiling than Gildart and would be a better option to give some game time to.
he's sorta come out of nowhere hey. guys like Dotoi and Feledy have been spoken about a heap but Saukuru is older, bigger and clearly very sharp at Cup level already. Trey Peni is a decent prospect as well but I feel like Saukuru is better equipped for the NRL from a physical standpoint.

Well one minute he's playing centre then ken gets smashed and then hes playing wing in a backline that didnt train that way during the week.
He's had to jump into a struggling backline from the moment he got here, most players would have found that hard.
He's come over here to play in an elete comp and it was stated from the get go that he will be a work in progress and after just finishing watching that again I still cannot fathom why you and the other guy fail to see improvement.
He did some good things that can be built on.
He wasnt the reason we lost.
He ran a lot of metres and performed ok in most aspects.
I just don't understand the hate when we are trying to build.
Anyway you have you opinion and I've not denied you that nor have I forced my opinion on you. Cheers

Saukura has been injured I think...
I been looking forward to seeing how he goes.

If nothing else - Cup could use a lift.

Nofo has consistently let in multiple tries a game for the last decade. Kepoa, Talau, Roberts are all consistently pretty useless. Until Doueihi is in the squad and Laurie back at FB our 1 - 5 is fairly weak.
I think this is a year where the defence inside the centre and wingers are much more organised. As a result Nofa has let in a lot less tries this year.

I don't disagree our 1-5 is not particularly strong, but Gildart is still by far the weakest link and the stats back that up.

It’s about cohesion obviously, not always statistics. I’d actually back him to iron out these defensive lapses.

Absolutely I thought he looked awesome on Saturday and given a bit more space in firsts could cause some havoc for the opposition
