I’m sure Kikau has mates there too, didn’t stop him taking the $$$. No harm in making an offer.
 
Utility back Tex Hoy could be the next player to leave the under-performing Knights.

Hoy, who has been given a chance to show his wares in recent weeks and played fairly well, is being shopped around by his management.

The 22-year-old local junior, who can play both fullback and five-eighth, is looking for a regular top grade spot and has had expressions of interest from a couple of clubs.

The Tigers have signed themselves a superb hooker in Api Koroisau for 2023 and have another boom No.9 coming through the ranks.

Tallyn Da Silva, 18, was a standout in the Wests Magpies' undefeated Harold Matthews Cup team this season.

Fast and clever, he is very much in the Koroisau mould and looms as the heir apparent to the hooking spot in years to come.

But the Tigers need to be on their guard - Da Silva comes off contract at the end of 2023 and rival clubs are already waiting in line to have a chat to him.
 
Of the three rumoured to let go by the Roosters players, I hope the only one we consider is Angus. JWH is surely due to hang his boots up and while Keary is a better player in attack than our current 5/8 (Brooks), he is worse at D (without the bodyguards he has now to clean up for him), is older and is concussion prone. IMO, the top 3 backrowers are: Fifita, Papali'i & Crichton. Imagine having 2 of the 3! Would rather him at 700K, than Nikora (550K?) and Aiken (350K?).

Absolutely, and one of the best number 9's in the world giving quick, crisp, and clean ball for them to run onto

There’s a good combination of being a little stale where he is, apparently roosters want to make space, a relationship with Madge and we have cap space gives me an ok feeling about Crichton signing. If amounts to nothing the squad is no worse off.

Not over paying for Aitken is a great sign too. Agree with Proctor.

I do too, since you know at least one or two things. Did we put the front end focus on Nikora to snatch Dykes from under Cronulla’s nose?

He best realise it's a competition and develop some desire - In a hurry!!
His effort areas are atrocious!!
In any game or skillset - You can fix skills - You can fix smarts.... You can't fix lazy!!

Every ball I've ever seen him drop, He's moped off while the opposition grabs it - It one instance, They picked it up and ran off when he dropped a Benji pass... He ran his momentum out (In the wrong direction) like he'd just won gold in the Olympics... Oblivious to the play - and the ball.

Based on that alone, I just don't think he has it.
As I said, You can't fix lazy....
