Dykes is not yet 100% signed…but most likely…Nikora negotiations were independent…..but he was never really serious about coming here….he always wanted to stay at Cronulla…leveraged WT to get 3 years and more money

He's improved this year and unlike our club, the Panthers have depth in their squad May is a very good winger and from what was written on this forum, will be staying at the Panthers. If we can pick him up cheaply he adds a dimension to our backline and depth.

Maybe if he comes here for free...I honestly think we have better wing options

( on $375k)…Aiken wants $450k…club not willing to go anywhere near that amount,so we have moved on….

Of the three rumoured to let go by the Roosters players, I hope the only one we consider is Angus. JWH is surely due to hang his boots up and while Keary is a better player in attack than our current 5/8 (Brooks), he is worse at D (without the bodyguards he has now to clean up for him), is older and is concussion prone. IMO, the top 3 backrowers are: Fifita, Papali'i & Crichton. Imagine having 2 of the 3! Would rather him at 700K, than Nikora (550K?) and Aiken (350K?).

I posted here the other week I was told by a rooster that Keary will get a contract extension then a medical retirement it's a golden handshake preplanned let's see if it happens preplanned cheating the cap the Roosters wouldn't would they 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

JLJ was a big body... Dunno if he was Hungry enough - He had it in the early days.

Euan Aitken wants 450k a year & the club has moved on from him at this point.
Angus Crichton now a main focus.
Taylan May is the clubs number 1 outside back target for 2023.
Kade Dykes appears all but done for 2023, talks discussed about him being out 30th spot for 2022 continuing

So there a quite a few options around and having money means we are in a strong position. Cash talks and the fact we are looking at players like Topine and Hopgood strengthens my belief the club's future will be assured by signing these players on the cusp of the NRL. Dykes as well seems an inspired selection.
