Joshy attacks Albo. Wasn't Josh the one who came close to trebling the debt prior to the pandemic.

It must be almost time for him to put his arm around Scomo's shoulders and say he's my PM, I'm ambitious for him.
Yes, that's him.

Not sure about the second bit though - it's looking more and more likely he'll lose the seat of Kooyong to the very impressive Monique Ryan.

Other than Howard and Abbott, who in living memory would have been a bigger fail than Frydenberg IF he loses his seat?

The last 10 years or so of his life has been aimed at being PM - just like Porter, Taylor, Dutton and a few others.

Frydenberg would be filthy if he loses as he would have had the opposition leadership for sure.
At least Howard and Abbot got to be PM
Frydenberg will end up like Costello

Barnaby believes the Chinese are island hopping like the Japanese did in WW2. Unfortunately Barnyard, history records it was the Americans who island hopped to bypass Japanese held islands.

Barnyard is also sharing his wisdom on the Chinese threat "it is reality and we have to be awake to it" Joyce said. Pity he wasn't awake with the Solomon Island. Not to mention the sale of the Port of Darwin to a Chinese business. Ssssh.

He was absolutely off his chops at the national press club yesterday

The idea of him ever being PM has always made me laugh.

He has the public appeal of a week old chiko roll.

When the biggest knife you can bring to a gunfight is a man who lost his own seat at an election when he was prime minister - you are really scraping the bottom of the barrell.

He hasn’t got an argument and if you had bothered reading the thread you would know that.
Now run off back to the rumours thread Timmy and spread some more lies about signings. It’s always a good laugh.
Child. Is that all you can do, badmouth people. Get some help.

Significant improvements in productivity can be achieved through increased Govt investment in the education of our workforce. This could include additional places at TAFE, the Govt establishing the Naval Shipbuilding College in SA to provide the high end skilled workforce required to build new naval ships noting the worldwide shortage of these skills. It could also be the Govt requiring our teachers meeting benchmark literacy standards.

Other ways a Govt can improve productivity is the provision of better infrastructure such as roads and rail which reduces transport time especially industries associated with earning import/export dollars. Improvements to IT systems, machinery and transport can also improve productivity. The way a company measures productivity can also have a profound impact on improvements.

These are tangible and realistic improvements and whether you agree with it, wage rises are going to have to be accompanied by improvements to productivity in the inflationary economy we live in under Scumo.
That's all well and good but we still need people to mow our lawns, empty our bins, clean the streets etc. ( I work in local gov. ) We've got plenty of uni grads working the checkout at Coles. These people are struggling but simply stating you'll give them a 5.1% pay rise just isn't acceptable. I agree they need that 5.1% rise, but you need to explain where that's coming from. The NLP are even worse for not even considering a rise.
Maybe reduce the tax threshold, maybe remove O.T. from the bracket calculation. I don't know but there must be some positive way to do it.

Albanese stated he would support a 5.1% pay increase for a minimum wage earners through the Fair Work Commission. He can only support it, the decision is made by the Commission. Minimum wage earners received $20 per hour, so a 5% increase is $1 per hour. Note this is for inflation that has already occurred, not inflation occurring due to this increase. Scomo is not concerned with the inflationary impact resulting from the huge tax breaks he is giving to the top end of town. For me, I'd like to know where Scomo is getting the $5.5bn for the subs which will never be built?

how about we stop family A ,B hand out ,cultural ,art grants etc for 2 years ,get the budget back on track, these 250$ hand out to the welfare is stupid,it only helps 2% of people on welfare to take a breath for a day.all these dumb little scraps they toss about hurts us all in the long run.if clive palmer party told me they wanted 2 balance the books[try look me in the eyes when you lie 2 me]would get my vote

People interested in arts and culture (& those that work in it) would probably say how about we stop funding sports development and Olympic programs? You can’t just piss off entire sectors just because you’re not interested in them. Also, plenty of people rely on FTB A and B and you’d risk child welfare problems if you culled them. Could means test the A benefit harder though.
There is plenty of wasteful spending that could be eliminated before targeting bedrock funding.
