I do get what your saying i didnt think everyone thought that,and i agree with what you're saying i may have worded what i said not as well as i could have. Eventually we do have to fill the backrow shortages, perhaps we might scour around in England if nothing comes up im not too sure about who is any good in the ESL.

there seems to be a few moving parts to our roster at the moment, and for mine it all centres around Adam Doueihi. if AD comes back and plays in the centres, I feel like going to market for an outside back isn't as imperative as it seems. let To'a, Tupou, Talau (providing he re-signs) and Kepaoa battle it out for the other spot and we're sorted.
if he plays 6, it's a matter of moving Brooks on, looking to re-sign Madden or promoting Camroux.
if the rumours about him playing 13 come to fruition then there's no real need to go to market for a front rower or a lock. Joffa can go straight to the front row rotation and effectively covers the hole Tamou leaves. AD can then hold down the spot until Matamua is ready.
club needs to make a decision on what they feel is the best way forward. we definitely need a back rower and a back up fullback. from there, it's working out what to do with The Prince of Leichhardt.

I get that a lot of you hate Brooks and his salary. Give him until this time next year. See where he is at. If he is playing well this time next year and he thinks his best footy is here, he might take a big pay-cut to stay here for another contract. Especially if we re-sign Hastings and the two are combining well. No way would you want to break that up.

That's the Roosters' way. Sign a bloke for $500K per season, then when you ship him off, somehow the resulting salary cap space is $800K.
Just like how they fit Tedesco and Cronk under the cap in 2018 by releasing Mitchell Pearce, SKD and Aiden Guerra. I never knew they had been paying SKD $750K!

the long service discount on the salary cap, that can be used for nofo and or for brooks next contract ? what is it 100k discount or 200k ?

Both played 20's for Wests Tigers - So it would be counted from before they hit NRL.

It’s like their accounting structures are extremely fluid where they can instantly front or backload into different accounts as they need to and then report the version that suits the salary cap. Player doesn’t care because they get their coin in the end either way.

TPJ, JAC, lattrell not worth the value for various reasons.
News now we shopping liddle, did madge do that contract?? I have little faith he knows what he is doing. Laurie's his only okay Signing.
I'm glad sheens and co are now working in this space. But really, the club should provide us an update. Has Sheens done an interview once on WT website and told fans and members what's going on, not once. I still don't know what he does apart from him saying several times hes not coaching.
With how poor the club are doing it would be nice to be more informed with what's doing in the future.
Noone has a clue what's doing apart from vague info on here from some posters. Media has no clue.

I think we resigned liddle half way through last year under Adam fartagain and they probably did it because they never thought a player of apis level would come here so I get why they have done that but I agree hearing something from some 1 in the club about a plan for the future would be great I Have heard Madge talk about it been the clubs number 1 goal to have home grown talent in the top grade but that is a long term plan I think what we are missing is a plan for the for the next 3 years

Increase sheens scope and $$ and decrease Madge responsibility.
