I hope the team don’t go into the game with the attitude that it’s okay to lose and be running last. I get the sentiment around effort, injuries and external factors but it’s unacceptable to run last at any stage

Stuff coming last, excepting it and be OK with it is the wrong mentality to have. The club built this roster and every recent season we slide further down the ladder. I won't be happy at all if we loose.

I must be wierd but I legit think we are a top 8 team if we could all get on the paddock.

If we had talau and AD in the centres, Laurie at fullback and Nofo and Tao on the wings them we have a lot more strike power. The fact we are playing with a reserve grade backline and still competitive for large parts of the game are outstanding to me..

AD and Talau are an ordinary centre pairing.
Noffo and Toa will let in a lot of tries
Laurie is still on his L plates.

You could just about write this season off. My posts last year stated we don't have much chance this year but it's important that the last ¼ we start winning and build momentum for 2023.
I hope we can snag Agnes which might get the ball rolling in the way of signings.

It's not an excuse its a fact. Melbourne not a patch on what they were in recent weeks without RP and Hughes. All teams are impacted by the loss of players and our squad is already weaker than most.

You have got 30 top players to select from and when 9 or more are injured you can't produce like players to replace them and then blow up when they don't beat a top 3 full strength side. Its disappointing but there is no instant fix until we get some of the squad back.
