They might need to show accountability, i cant think of another reason why this Review needed to be made public.

This club is about keeping up appearances more so than actions. Read a Madge fluff article today that talked about four or five years time we will look back on this period fondly. They will still be doing reviews then.

I'm getting strong mail that Buzz is on the way out at the Daily Telegraph, while Hooper is under the microscope after an internal review into his behaviour on NRL 360 and following bullying allegations on Triple M. This has sent the Daily Telegraph into disarray with the culture to be looked at especially after photos emerged of staff looking unhappy in the lunch room.

Gee this writing stuff to suit my agenda & create sensationalism is quite fun! It only took me 2 minutes too. All of the above is not wrong depending on how you look at it!!! Buzz will retire soonish, staff are always under the microscope that's just corporate life, organisations often look at their culture & most staff don't have a smile on their face all day every day.

TBH I thought losing 38-0 to the spooners at the end of last year had to be it. I guess it was going to cost too much, and Madge was still talking the good game. When he took over, the Tigers were always 9th. Four years on and the team is closer to the bottom than the 8.

I don't get it. Lots of players say what a great coach he is, but if he was so great, surely the team would not be in spoon territory?

Well he did wonders for Tonga , is well liked in the industry , and has a strong reputation . And the last 2 coaches to come out of that league with similar results have gone on to win the comp in the nrl . Robbo and Madge for those wondering . I think to dismiss a guy who’s spent the last 3 years winning , for guys sitting on thier butt , or Guys who have been riding the success of a golden generation .
I dunno seems dismissive for me , and confirmation bias .

Robbo and Madge walked into strong clubs.

WTs have a culture of giving up unfortunately.

We need to stay the course and hold our nerve.

2023 will be the year that we show improvement.

By accident (not kidding), NRL360 just came on youtube and it was a segment with Anasta, Kent, Crawley and Riicio. I haven't watched since Ikin left, but thats a personal choice.

They discussed the comments by Lee Hagipantelis around the mid season review. They played the recording. I have never seen so much BS and twist come from that. I though Lee's comments were crystal clear, and would be the same from any Chairman if they were talking genuinely about the future of their current coach, be it Bellamy, Fitzgibbon, Robinson, whoever. So they deliberately chose to lie and twist that into something.

Kent made the comment that NO other NRL club is doing a mid season review. I didnt look too hard to season that the Warriors had just done the same, finishing 2 days ago.

Then they discussed Ciraldo coming to the Tigers. They weren't sure. They also discussed him going to the Bulldogs but given he was currently discussing extending his contract, he would not take that option. So hang on...... he wont go to the bulldogs because he is recommitting to Penrith, but that same reason doesn't exist around the Tigers?

These blokes are imbeciles. And anyone who watches that show should consider themselves one aswell.

Also said that our last review resulted in no actions, not sure the assistant coaches that were let go would agree. The team on NRL360 omit info when it suits their narrative

I have read through all the OPINIONS of the members of this forum in regards to Madge,either we sack him or keep him....deadset some have no idea and just want wins and a Storm type team to follow...REALITY is that we are a young NRL club that has to establish itself as a competative club and team year in year out,unfortunately this club has been,RAPED,PILAGED,ABUSED and down trodden by the very people employed to establish the club and team...poor Admin for years,Nepotism,CEOs without decent qualifications,Board members with their own agendas such as Wests vTigers,players who have more say in the team than the coach and his staff(Farah,Benji) for eg because they were club legends..
Madge has come here with the very best intentions to rectify years of abuse and establish a juniors pathway as well as changing the rotten culture which has diminished this club for years..he put his head on the chopping block to improve this club from front of office through to playing group...
He is a premiership winning coach on 2 continents...and all people can say is get rid of him the game has past him by...to me that is the most piss poor excuse I have heard in years just to make a poor argument for people who think they know far better than the man copping the heat others refused to take up...
