I stand with @pawsandclaws1

Tides are turning.
Obviously they have something planned.

Ciraldo? Maybe.
Time to make your own legacy young man.

Thanks Madge.
Goodbye/ terminated.

A new day is about to dawn.
Obviously they have something planned? You act like you're new to this club. It's just as likely that they don't have something planned and will go ahead and sign some numpty like Pay or Brown. The club's a mess. They could have sacked Madge at the end of last season after the Bulldogs game, but there was improvement shown this season despite injuries with no reason to sack Madge.

Onward & upward.

The time had come.

The rumblings of the Board wanting Ciraldo after the first review were strong. The Club has worked hard for the COE, Pathways, strong juniors and Sheens to make the joint more attractive to him.
Yeah, no worries mate. I'll come back to this post when Ciraldo is eventually sacked in 3-4 years by the board and we go through this whole rebuild bullshit again. You'll probably still be here in 4 years calling for Ciraldo to get sacked as well ahahahahaha

Good young players did not improve under him.

Our game plan didnt change under him.

Senior players were treated differently to rookies under him.

We went backwards under him.

Im glad we are out from under him.

I trust the decision was made to do this now as it gives us the best possible chance to find the "right" coach to take us back to the finals.

I'm relieved for Madge. He was in a toxic, abusive relationship with this club. He always remained positive and truly believed things were going to change.

In the best interests of his own mental health and physical health I'm glad he's received a golden handshake. Just look at pictures of him from before he started coaching us to how he looks now...

I know how shitty it feels to support this club, imagine what it feels like being the man on the ground trying to change it all. Everything he has said about this club has been true.

Best wishes to Madge, thanks for your effort.

Here we go on another rebuild...

Keen to see the media's response tonight. They started a campaign to sack him before a ball was kicked this season. Phil Rothfield will be jumping out of his skin to remind us all that Shane Flanagan is available. His campaign against Maguire on NRL360 has been disgusting. His allegiance to Shane Flanagan is clear, but he is also acting as the mouthpiece of some pretty spineless board members who should have video called in to the show last night instead of using Phil as their errand boy.

I have enormous respect for Madge, am disappointed by how the club has treated him, am sad to see him go and don't think we should have parted ways with him. Players get spoken to in plain english - it is quite clear what is expected of them, and it is the same at every club and every elite junior level. We have a playing group with a low footballing IQ, a lack of experience when it comes to success and no natural leaders bar Hastings who has only been with us for 6 months. That is the only reason why we lose - we objectively have the worst team in first grade in terms of IQ, ability, fitness and leadership. Hopefully Madge gets the Warriors job and takes them in to the 8.

Cameron Ciraldo does not have the experience to get results with our playing roster in its current state and may not have the mettle to tell some of our more difficult players (personalities) that they are not first grade quality footballers. This is a job for a man who has got no problem putting a player, club official or board member in their place, be it in or out of the club as they so determine.

We now know Madge isn't our future, glad the club actually made a decision and not wait for another review to take place.

The hunt for the next person starts, let's hope that person is already a lock and just working through formalities to be announced in 4-6 weeks time so we can then compete in the recruitment and retention stakes.

Congrats to Kimmorley on getting a run as NRL coach, he is a very smart and astute league mind be very interested to see the style of play we move forward with.

Brooks (Britney) & Nofa (Spears) ooops you did it again.

That statement is the worst I have ever seen from a professional organisation for someone who worked tirelessly for this club & was soooo passionate about this place. It shows how unprofessional our media area really is.
