Noff and Musgrove are maybe on a million combined.
I don't see this as a problem. I think you are probably exaggerating Musgrove's salary as well.
Put it this way bringing this up as a problem shows how good our cap really is.

Where does he play?Asiatia James is pretty decent also.
Some bored smart person must have done a study on it? I remember years ago a bloke telling me that head gear does nothing to stop concussions but I thought it was just tough guy pub talk.
Where does he play?
MT, I'm sure nobody was expecting a total transformation of the side after only a week.
BUT . . . nothing changed. Absolutely nothing has changed. Except for even worse discipline.
5 one out hitups and a midfield bomb.
We can't expect them to have come out and put on razzle dazzle that we've never seen before . . . BUT there should have been identifiable improvements. They are first grade players, ffs. Why do they need 6 months to remove "poorly coached tactics" from their heads ?
This effort didn't show why Madge is gone, this effort showed the real reason we are like this.
It's either the coach or the players.
You removed the coach, yet the result is identical.
The players are the same, and the result is identical. Do the sums.
While of course a new coach can't transform a team completely in a week . . . there certainly are parts that can be immediately improved. These are NRL players. How hard is it to change the way they do one or 2 little things during 2 training sessions ?
It's not like we are trying to mould C Grade park players into NRL stars.
As an example . . . . if you were a qualified chef and I had only 3 hours to teach you how to make my magnificent 50 step lasagne . . . I'd hope that you would be able to get large parts of the process down pat in 3 hours.
If you had zero kitchen experience, then you ain't understanding much.
"Whoever becomes the new coach is going to have an ordinary 12-18mths with us as the squad gets worse next year & they get the joy of being stuck with Nofa & Musgrove for another few years. " . . . . as for this comment, I thought most of us were saying that this year was going to be ordinary, and next had some promise ?
Anyway, it's the players more so than the coach.
Yesterday's efforts will be repeated time and time again, and sooner or later everyone will realise that it wasn't Madge. Or Mick. Or Noddy. Or the next poor bastard.
It's the players and their attitude.

You'd have to think musgrove isn't happy about madge.
Madge signed him on a long deal
Who cares ? Seriously these guys are professional footy players. They were so undisciplined yesterday. Musgrove wasn't terrible.
I don't see any coach turning us around but some quality players would do the job.
I get that we can't transform in a week. They had what a total of 2 training sessions
Kimmorley hasn’t been apart of any of their training prior
As to nothing changed in the 1st 20-25mins or so our attack absolutely changed. The second we got an advantage we went wide with some depth & the back got the ball more in that 25min period than most games.
Lids also had his best game for us, surprise surprise he was running which is his strength and getting a few penalties in doing so.
Our kicking game also involved kicks on the ground which has been rare for a long time
But its one game lets see if those suttle changes become bigger ones as the weeks move on.
Kimmorley didn’t pick the side, has had little involvement with NSW Cup (which also played a different style) so lets see over the next few weeks if our selections, rotations and structures change.
Players train all off season and half the season set ways under set structures, this team has been doing it for a few years now. To expect that to be broken down and chucked out the window in 2 training sessions let alone over a few weeks is totally unreasonable.
Mate, things aren’t going to change with a magic wand. This side is puss no matter who coaches. We might jag a win this week against the competition cellar dwellers, but we’re stilll destined to finish bottom 4.They had what a total of 2 training sessions

He was worried by the threat of WTs. Two COEs, Campbelltown/Macarthur and Balmain juniors doing well, possibly Ciraldo threatens the Dogs. The big kicker will be if Laundy switches to WTs.Surely the true intention of Gould's bizarre comments on madge has come to light now
He led us to believe his interested in madge and players would leave out of his desperation for Ciraldo.

I remember reading once that it doesn’t stop concussions because concussions are caused to disruption to neural pathways. Some bored smart person must have done a study on it? We expected the squad to continue digging in and scrapping as they have done all year.
More than half the team looked disinterested at best. At worst, they could be accused of not having a go.
That is a result of Madge’s sacking, and that is a problem. It was noted during the week that Sheens has failed to read the room on the issue and that seems evident so far.
