If the paper work hasn’t been done it’s not official . And our Chair is a lawyer. Apparently.I think that’s funny.
LL and his agent again asked, for the third time this year, to be released immediately.
Cowboys confirmed their interest.
WT jumped in and got rid of him as they probably realised that’s the best chance to get some savings out of the deadbeat.
Anyone putting crap on WT about it must be brain dead.
Love it!
It's not just Sheen's there too. Remember Lee butting in and giving nofa another year and more money? This hierarchy has precedence of making head scratching decisions.I’ll spell it out.
You're kidding that anyone would even contemplate such an arrangement.
Sheens has been around Rugby League decisions most his life …. give him some credit please before contemplating that he would take one like that.
Agree 100%... It's not our job to make sure Cows are ready it's his Manager.Lol to Lucy . He’s asked for the release and now he’s about to go unpaid until november 1st.
the release is from his playing contract , the tigers don’t have any Responsibility over whether the cowboys have the coin available to pay him this season.
that’s on lucianos manager . If there was some compensation or player swap sure , but he was just granted a straight release .
too bad so sad . He would no longer be employed here .
I used to know a guy quite well who had dealings with him, reckons he had the personality of a wet mop and was really arrogant. I shouldn't judge the guy myself iv never met him, still grinds my gears what he did to the club when he got here, who in their right mind would start to tinker and dismantle the pathways Sheens had in place.JT was the biggest flog to ever be involved at the the Tigers worse than Lamb and Alan Jones,it is also quite probable that he was the worst flog to be involved at Wests.A couple of blokes i know who either played for the Bears or closely where connected to them also hated him
I read somewhere that they were waiting to work out how much the Tigers were going to chip in for his contract for the rest of the year. Maybe only the bus fare to get rid of him I'm confident that not even the Tigers admin are that incompetent. Why would you pay another team to take the one decent player you have. They should of given us a 100k for releasing him
Sheens makes the decisions around recruitment and retention. He’s nobodies man. It's not just Sheen's there too. Remember Lee butting in and giving nofa another year and more money? This hierarchy has precedence of making head scratching decisions.
Still can't understand why we didn't go after a young gun from up there in recompense.
JT was the worst decision the club has made, and they have made some howlers, he caused trouble as a player and coach everywhere he went, it was never ever going to work, it was always going to end badly, and it didJT was the biggest flog to ever be involved at the the Tigers worse than Lamb and Alan Jones,it is also quite probable that he was the worst flog to be involved at Wests.A couple of blokes i know who either played for the Bears or closely where connected to them also hated him
That was really a black period for the club.JT was the worst decision the club has made, and they have made some howlers, he caused trouble as a player and coach everywhere he went, it was never ever going to work, it was always going to end badly, and it did
Translation . Wt haven’t forwarded the signed copy to the agent yet, which is where the info always comes from.If the paper work hasn’t been done it’s not official . And our Chair is a lawyer. Apparently.
Luxury of hindsight is a great saying now and then. Not after 12 years of the term 'in hindsight' being thrown around.Sheens makes the decisions around recruitment and retention. He’s nobodies man.
I’m sorry but I disagree with your assessment around our administration and hierarchy of decision making.
Sheens has made it clear that in his time with the club there has been no decisions made on player R & R without the input from him and the Coach.
Im sure that there is nobody in our administration that wants failure and are working hard to bring us success.
But yes at times decisions you make can sometimes come back to bite you on the bum but it’s easy to criticise having luxury of hindsight.
But the board was impressed by his interview. Fair dinkum. That's why you need a former player on the board or someone who knows the game.JT was the worst decision the club has made, and they have made some howlers, he caused trouble as a player and coach everywhere he went, it was never ever going to work, it was always going to end badly, and it did
Let's hope it's not the truth. If so, someone needs their ass kicked big time. We just can't seem to get much right.Andrew Webster just saying that Wests Tigers have not signed the release paperwork and should not have announced it yet. Another administrative master stroke from Wests Tigers.
💩💩💩💩
Maybe use your words next time.I’ll spell it out.
You're kidding that anyone would even contemplate such an arrangement.

Pascoe was talking to the NRL after the Matterson affair. How’d that go?This happens over and over. One of our top players starts bringing a bad attitude and throwing games to get an early release to a stronger, semis bound team - Moses, Aloiai, Matterson and now Lucy.
The NRL must investigate this apparent corrupt behaviour, seemingly encouraged by the strong clubs trying to break the contract. Otherwise, the Tigers can never be anything but a feeder.
A "kick in the guts to all our members and fans" .....Your definitely not wrong there @KearnsyWe have had some rough years but never have I seen the club give up publicly, especially this early in the season. I know we aren’t going to make the finals this year but it’s still a kick in the guts to all us members and fans who sacrifice time and money supporting this team.
No mate, we have seen before what changing the coach does. Sweet FA.I'm curious about all the woe in this thread. So much woe, every step and every day just adds to this ongoing consternation.
I am completely indifferent to Luciano Leilua at this stage. Stay, go, sign him off, don't sign him off... I really don't care. He won't get us to the finals in 2022 and sure as hell will have zero involvement in Tigers playing finals 2023. So the machinations of how he finishes his time at Tigers are of no specific concern to me.
All the rumours are irrelevant. I don't get why you guys get yourself in a bind about it all.
Tigers have already cut the coach - that is the big move, the bold move. That is the one that has a large impact on the Tigers' ongoing fortunes. Whether or not LL plays 11 more games for Tigers doesn't do anything.
