Wests Tigers Coaches

First time posting this kind of info based on previous posts of yours its hard to believe the legitimacy of it mate, not calling you a liar mate but never seen you post something of this nature before so forgive me for being skeptical but until we hear an offical announcement from Tigers or Panthers about CC he could still be deciding on what to do
Put your mortgage on it.

Ciraldo has 5 young kids. He won't leave the financial security of the Panthers gig. He knows once Ivan goes the throne is his.
Coming here he might find him and his family living out of their car in 2.5 years.
You do realise Ivan just signed a lengthy contract extension right, and the Panthers see him being there for the next decade, like Bellamy.

If we can double his current salary surely that's more appealing to him to look after his family.

Just reading he is on 400k a year as an assistant. I wouldn't leave that gig. No pressure only winning and party time.
He has it made it's hard to get a job with longevity in the NRL.
Stick around and wait for Ivan to get bored.
Absolutely no incentive to come here besides the noble "Wants a challenge" throwaway line.

I would imagine the only people who would know which way CC is leaning would be his manager and his family.

Of course it may have been leaked to up a new deal at Riff. Anyway we will know soon enough
No one at the Panthers would know anything yet. They might be scrambling to try keep him but ultimately the decision is with him, his family, agent and us. Panthers would be informed after us.

In any case, if he did sign with us and in 5 years time Cleary wants to step back, what's to stop them trying to poach him from us like they did with Cleary in the first place? If anything he would blow out the cobwebs with us and be a more seasoned coach for them in 5 years.

Not many people would turn down a job paying 750k a year. That's how you setup your family for life... And he could always go back to Panthers when his contract ends with us etc

That's unsettling. I am under the impression that hiring Ciraldo was because he could poach a lot of talent on the way out like Barrett did.
If he isn't bringing any talent because he is going back to the Panthers later then I don't want him.
Bring talent or next!!!

I have no confidence in CC bringing talented players along with him. It could be worse than this as well. He could bring average talent on top dollars which could be a disaster.

I'm happy for him to come but we aren't hiring him and his players so if that is the plan it's stupid.

He could just leave next year and take up a deal with a new club for exactly the same length of time that his current boss is contracted for and return with more first grade experience. Especially experience in dealing with a less than organised organisation a team requiring the further development of their juniors / pathways. A new strategy regarding talent identification, retention and recruitment and head back to the panthers with all those boxes ticked and succeed Ivan.

Or he could get a bit of the birds eye view from within his current position and be groomed into a first grade coach.

In terms of not knowing what he is going to do.
It is said he is a man of high integrity and maybe calls a spade a spade. If there is talk around the panthers that he is staying put maybe quite simply he has mentioned to close confidants that it isn’t the best timing for him and he is not ready for the challenge. Doesn’t necessarily mean his out right said no but prehaps his given the indication of where his heart lies and for those that know him well, know that he will follow through on what he feels.
*disclamer, purely suggestion only, I’m not one of those confidants Or have any connection to the panthers*

Brett Kimmorley
I like this guy. Sometimes we forget who he is and what a great player he was.
Having played for his country and state as a halfback, these are just a couple of highlights on an impressive resume.
When interviewed for his first coaching gig last week you could see the emotion in his eyes.
He has been so strong for so long, but his pain is obvious.
The former NRL star's wife Sharnie died in March aged 38 following an eight-month battle with brain cancer.
Her passing has left Kimmorley as the sole parent to four daughters: Maddi, Mia, Ava and Ivy.
He has said several times that providing for his children is his main priority in life....very admirable Noddy!
When Kimmorley was asked how WT can win a second half of football he said....
"It's hard to teach resilience or how to handle adversity, especially when fatigued — it's something we have to practise, practise, practise.

I want Noddy to have a chance to prove his worth as a coach and whatever happens, I hope he gets the rub of the green, the bounce of the ball and his life takes a turn for the better.....
I think he deserves it don't you?

All that is not reasons to have him as our coach.
Jason Taylor was a great footballer, doesn't make him a good coach as you witnessed.
Hiring someone out of pity is a recipe for disaster.
