I'm not one to constantly bash everything the media say, generally speaking if the media say something there's something brewing, but I'll be the first to say they very rarely have a good thing to say about us.

Probably just signalling to him through his contract we finally understand that it won't get done in three years and we understand he will need 4-5 years before we see any genuine cultural change and consistent onfield finals level performances.

Great point Gallagher, my only rebuttal to that is Maguire expected to make the finals in his first two years, I think Sheens knew he was a great coach with a squad that was well assembled but just needed fine tuning, we need a Sheens / Bellamy type coach who can implement the pathways and turn great prospects into regular first graders. Seeing as though Sheens is there atm then we just need a coach who can bring generation next through.
Though you make a great point and I'll go as far as to say if Ciraldo does sign and they give him the boot before his 5 years are up the damage to the joint will be irreparable for decades I reckon. A club with a history of going through coaches, goes all out for a coach promises him the world only to get rid of him. The only bloke who would coach us after that would be Jason Taylor.

they met, they talked, they stated intentions…..they agreed to meet again before end of June…WT seeking a decision in July(before Panthers game)

From all reports it was a 6 hour visit, that is a long time to be somewhere you don't have to or don't want to be
