Wests Tigers Coaches

If he does get take the job then the club need a to back him 100% - even through the rough times, and for 3 years if that's what it takes. We have a roster problem and until there is significant change - no guarantees with the juniors - we have to change the perception of the club being unstable. That starts with backing the coach and being realistic about the squad he has to work with.

If we were to do similar it would be something like the following.
~2023
Api Korisou f James Segyaro
Isaah Papali’i f Sika Manu
Broody Croft f Isaac John
Franklin Pele f Mose Masoe
Ben Hampton f Tom Humble
Liam Knight f Jeremy Latimore
Chanel Nickol Klokstad f Wes Naquima
Tyrell Sloan f James Roberts
Jazz Tevanga f Lewis Brown
Sebastian Kriss f Dean Whare
Had a check and some of the above aren’t off contract so if it was me and I was trying to rebuild a club base I would recruit the following seasoned players all off contract all affordable.
Rhys Kennedy
Andrew Davey
Tom Opicac
Matt Frawley
Franklin Pele
Jordan McLean
Raymond Fatila Mariner
Jackson Topine

8 into the 30 that can make a difference.
Gone
Gildart
Peachy
Brooks
Liddle

Ciraldo has met with us a total of 4 times since madge he is interested and was interested last season but did not want to put his hand up while madge was there.

He also knows how much he can learn about coaching from sheens and has a high level of respect and regard for tim
I really hope you’re right

I think the ugly loss against the dogs could have affected us majorly, we’ve looked extremely poor the last two weeks even against weak opposition and our squad looks dead - we do have Papalili and Api coming tho with Doueihi and Stef out

But if we somehow get him, and he understands the potential this job opportunity has and brings Barrett on top of that as an assistant coach that would be monumental

Barrett and Ciraldo with our expected cap certain to widen with players like Peachey and Luc recently being let go on top of the cap we had originally we’ll have a lot of pulling power with free agents and a decant base already

Both being mentored by Sheens as well, with our well established juniors coming through (best in the league) would be a good combo imo

Yep Barrett’s a interesting one, players seem to really like him, but he struggles to get results when a head coach. The Manly player and the Dog players both came out and gave him a glowing report.

Pressure off and working with CC could be a good combo…hell what have we got to lose
If Ciraldo and Barrett are selling themselves as a unit, you can pretty much rule out the Dogs!

Cameron from comments on here appears to be a smart operator.

Maybe a Coaching team of Cameron and Trent would be a good solution.

In my opinion Cameron is in an excellent position. By the end of the season he has been at a club who has played in 3 Grand Finals and won back to back (I can only see Panthers or Storm Grand Final winners at this stage).

Cameron would increase his income from $400,000 to potentially $800,000 a season setting up his young family for life. If he scores 5 years very nice indeed.

Would have ability to attract some quality players from the Panthers who will be under salary cap pressure. I can see Burton coming across in the coming years.

Gets to learn off Sheens and in the future build a legacy at WT or go back to Panthers when Cleary moves on.

Let's hope Cameron signs on this week or next and then let another rebuild begin and clean out the mess.

If everything Lees fedora ses is true I’d say cc will be our coach by the end of the week

Been to the coe 3 times since last week

Spotted there yesterday with Jackson Hastings

Has a huge level of respect for tim sheens

Asked the club to fix a few things before he would come over and the club has done so

Really hoping it all lines up

Lee says it's not true. I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet.

Our captain who knows him well from his Penrith days and others close to him have said they'll be very surprised if he leaves Penrith.

My guess is we'll end up with either a second tier coach like John Morris.
