Wests Tigers Coaches

The club have already disclosed the focal point of development is recapturing some of that 2005 brand of footy. It's probably why Sheens, Farah and Benji were pursued by the club.
Ciraldo has gained a reputation for his ability to work with juniors plus his coaching methods are highly effective in today's game.
IMO it's as simple as getting a coach capable of bringing the club's vision together. Someone who can successfully implement a coaching model or precise training methods to integrate this (coaching) style into the Wests Tigers junior pathways systems and work collaboratively with each division to ensure the successful application of it.

The club have always been transparent with this and I've interpreted that it basically means the club wish to create a high performing culture which is embedded throughout and they are being measured with their approach, by seeking a coach that can unify this goal.
Intelligent post Lauren. A hopeful one as well. We need this.

Sad thing is that until we get the right roster and coach, it's all conceptual.
Really don't like dwelling on it but it's such a shame we were unable to keep Papenhuyzen at the club. Seems to fit the mould.
But torn about the potential coaches. Honestly wouldn't complain if we got either Ciraldo or Morris but funnily enough I like the thought of having someone like Flanagan at the club too - despite the highly unethical stuff he did at Sharks.

I could go with any of the three as well. My favourite would be Todd Payten. So I suppose, for me, there is a high chance we will get one of these coaches - trying to be positive.

He may still come. Big opportunity for someone with his reputed ability. Not a lot of jobs available (just 17 including the ones already taken, in some cases by long term or big name appointees), big bucks, long term (maybe as much as 5 years) and no immediate club expectations of finals, premierships etc while our young guys are being developed into 1st graders. If he decides not to, just go with Flanagan, Morris or someone else. Wouldn't worry about getting slagged off by the Telegraph et al for failing to land our favoured coach. The media will find some reason to bag us whatever we do!

Unless we ever figure out how to win

I’d like cc to come but I’ll be front and centre to kick his sorry smug ass if he squibs,

As Stryker-puss ( that’s what everybody calls him on the other forum) said, this frolicking around picking pansies at the foot of the mountains is wearing thin.

I can only account for his behaviour on the basis that he’s some kind of offer hoarder.

He’s most likely got 4 or 5 at that moment, approaching a third of the NRL and he’s yet to kick a chair or a swear at a gear steward in anger.

Too many offers to coach first grade NRL sides is never enough for these sick minded people.

Dean Young?
Keep an eye on the Tongan team this week, he is the stand in head coach. Also spent the last two years as the Protégé of Todd Payten.

42-12 another st Helens flogging. Team always look very good. When woolf speaks he sounds like a mini sheens. Did we put all our eggs in the wrong basket ???

We don't know what is happening behind close doors. It's like the Code Of Silence in terms of information coming out of the club. That is a good outcome considering how it used to be at WTs.
Whatever is happening, I still don’t see CC coming. He has Italian heritage so I’m assuming he wouldn’t sacrifice time with his family for money. There is also the possibility that he could be sacked after 2 years if other teams perform better. I could list the pros and cons, but the cons far outweigh pros. He is building a reputation where he is now and at age 37. He is also enjoying the results of his hard work. There is only upside if he continues what he is doing. A move to a poorly managed club at the bottom of the ladder is high risk.

You got all that because he's Italian 😆
