Seriously I think what your trying to say is that many gut physical responses to stress are mediated by the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis.
Also evidence of stress-induced corticotrophin-releasing factor (CRF) release causing bowel dysfunction through multiple pathways, either through the HPA axis, the autonomic nervous systems, or directly on the bowel itself.
In a nut shell if your sitting on the can and you can't crap it is usually one of two things,
1. You've have an intake of a sustance that has bunged you up 💩 or
2. Your stressed out and need to find another team to support.

I recommend you take a laxative, drink plenty of fluids and get a good night sleep.
In the morning WT will still be shite but at least you should be able to have a dump
